A very quiet place in the heart of Devon! After driving along country lanes we arrived in a different world away from hustle und bustle. We enjoyed the comfort of our room and the nice garden. Auton Court is one of the most beautiful B & B we have ever stopped. Rosemary is an helpful and affectionate host.

Booked on Friday, stayed Sunday night. Very accommodating. Lovely location, although that lane certainly is narrow....breathe in and you're ok!! Lovely rooms with everything you could wish for, including a welcome bowl for our dog!! Breakfast was excellent - nothing too much trouble. We intend to return when we hope to make our stay a longer one.

Stayed 1 night before going on to Burgh Island. WOnderful start to our weekend, with Rosemary welcoming us with a tea tray , sitting out in the lovely, peaceful garden. Bed wonderfully comfortable and nice bathroom toiletries, with super soft dressing gowns. Everything a 5* hotel would provide but better.

A wonderfully comfortable night in Auton Court. Tucked away in the deep south hams devon. The owner is so accommodating and kind. Gives you a fantastic breakfast with full pot of coffee! The place itself has a deep sense of luxury in a timeless converted barn. A very magical place...

It was a delight to be taken care of so beautifully. High quality everything particularly the meals. Felt really taken care of - with attention to detail so that our specific needs were met. Would recommend you try the evening meal.

We were a party of 8 friends, two of the party having stayed at Auton Court before, and liking it so much they wanted to share it with friends. You do have to negotiate a rather long and very narrow Devon lane, with few passing spaces, but once there it's most definitely worth it. It's a very pretty barn conversion,set... More

We were sent perfect instructions on how to find Auton Court. After driving along country lanes we turned into Auton Court and it was in a lovely setting. Once inside it was alovely building. As I am disabled I found our room excellent as we could park the car right by the french doors which was so easy for access... More

We stayed at Auton Court for three nights and absolutely loved it. It was our first trip away as a family of four (we were travelling with our nine-year-old son and five-month old daughter) which we were a little apprehensive of. Despite our concerns, the trip was wonderful not least because of how welcoming and accommodating Rosemary was both before... More

Four of us stayed here for one night and had the place to ourselves which was lovely. It's at the end of the road so no passing traffic. The barn is gorgeous, tastefully decorated and clean. Rosemary is a lovely lady, very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Well worth a visit.
