My partner and I stayed in the stylish Linwood room which is both luxurious and comfortable and has excellent views of the countryside and estuary. The standard of accommodation and the welcome we received was very high and I have no hesitation in recommending Springfield House as an excellent place to stay.

We booked 4 nights at Springfield House then decided to stay a 5th night. The house is beautiful and full of character. Lucinda and Edward are great hosts and make you feel at ease. We stayed in the top floor apartment, which was immaculately clean, spacious (we had a bathroom each!) and very well appointed. We had delightful views of... More

A wonderful welcome, room and food. I stayed in the very clean Walnut bedroom with its lovely old furniture. The bed was very comfortable. I had a separate bathroom just for my own use which had a large bath and separate shower. I also enjoyed the welcoming tea and cake in the garden and the decanter of sherry. The breakfast... More

Lucinda and Edward are 2 warm hearted generous hosts who have a little cottage attached to the main B&B House. Whilst we never tasted their breakfasts as we were self catering everything you could possibly need was provided. The double bed is worth mentioning as very comfortable with super quality linen. The village shop is a 5 minute walk away and... More

My wife and I stayed at Springfield house during a golfing trip to Devon. It was the perfect home base to travel to Westward Ho! and up to Saunton. We booked the upstairs apartment, which gave us loads of room and was a great place to stretch out and relax after playing golf. Edward and Lucinda are magnificent hosts. Springfield... More
