Spent two nights in the superior room, which was lovely, quaint and spotlessly clean.Fresh milk in fridge and plenty of tea coffee and sugar avaIlable. We stayed b& b with one evening meal free. The food was the best I had tasted when staying bed and breakfast . We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived until the time... More

Stayed recently while visiting my sister nearby. Superb service. Spotlessly clean room and great breakfast ( all local produce including home made bread and jams) Maxine and Chris made me feel very welcome indeed. I will stay there again most certainly without a doubt. A tucked away little gem in a great spot between Plymouth and Tavistock. Great value for... More

As b&b's go you won't get one that offers much more than this- good central location for exploring all of Devon, friendly helpful hosts Maxine and Chris, good breakfast with all local or home made produce, clean and comfortable rooms, all in a pleasant little village which has two great pubs, one best suited to eating and one to drinking.... It was clean, with nice bedding and enough towels. Noticed someone put that there was milk in the fridge -not when we stayed- and that they did not like the bed - not an issue for us. However, we picked it partly because it had wifi (we had a mega busy two week, three centred break and were both back... More

Unusual and quirky building in a quiet village with good parking to the front, and yes, we had to pay up front too, which is a little odd. The room was clean, basic and adequate (blue room?) with no added extras - just milk in small fridge, plus tea bags, fruit tea, and instant coffee (biscuits provided only on the... More

This old school has been beautifully converted and now offers the most comfortable accommodation. My wife and I have stayed here previously and are always impressed by how spotlessly clean and fresh the property is. Our room was spacious and very comfortable offering views of Horrabridge. Breakfasts are always delicious, Highly recommended.

The bed was very comfy and very nice white crispy bedding. It had tea and coffe facilities with a good choice of teas and herbal ones and also there was a... More
