Another perfect stay at this delightful hotel. The view from the restaurant /bar are fantastic from the lambs in the next field to the distant hills. The staff make you feel like you are the only guest and remembered us from our last visit 6 months ago! The rooms are large and comfy even when sharing with our large dog,... More

Stayed for weekend in March with friends. Lovely hotel, great food and the staff are lovely especially Chris the waiter and Javea. Our room over looked fields and was spotlessly clean the only downside was the shower that was a bit slow running. The restaurant and food was great, our friends have a dog and he was made very welcome... More

Have just spent a Saturday night here, great location, tastefully decorated reception rooms and large bedrooms with very large en-suite ( we had room no.1). Particularly liked the local information available in the rooms, well thought out and a nice touch, like dog friendly walks and even some dog biscuits for the pooch, as we had arranged to take our... We had a lovely time at the hotel. The room and bathroom were lovely and it was great to have been made so welcome with our dog. Service and the food were very good. The only downside was that we were asked to make alternative arrangements for our evening meal one evening as they were shutting the restaurant We did... More

Needing to stay overnight at short notice we were struggling to find anywhere accepting our dog as a guest ( come on , East Devon is dog walking territory ) , but we were fortunate to locate this family run hotel from the paws4rest website. Booking by phone was efficient and polite and we were informed that booking dinner was... More

If you are out in East Devon looking for Sunday lunch, you will be pleasantly surprised if you stop off in the Fariwater Head Hotel. We chanced upon it by the roadside sign and followed our noses. The hotel is set in the Devon beautiful countyside and tucked away but if you make the short trip, you are met with... More

The Fairwater Head Hotel is an independent family run hotel which we have stayed at several times over the years since it was taken over by the current and delightful owners. It is a lovely quiet retreat and yet very close to Axminster and Lyme Regis. We love the location - down quiet unlit country lanes and it has a... More
