Excellent hotel, freindly staff, well stocked bar, log fires, comfotable rooms. We were on a walking weekend and found Simonsbath House a great palce to stay. There is not much around and you will need a car.But a great getaway, no light pollution great for star gazing unfourtunately it was cloudy when we were there.

The rooms are well appointed and the service by both Andrew , Louise and staff could not be bettered in any hotel we have stayed in. Outstanding hospitality for our walking group of 8. Nothing was too much trouble even to finding room for our 4 friends who decided to join us for dinner. Having read reviews that said we would be able to ask for help in planning our walks we were well briefed by Andrew and supplied with a map, printed directions and a... More

They will suggest and help to plan routes for walking and provide maps and packed lunches if required. Food was freshly prepared, well presented and the inclusive price for dinner, bed and breakfast was very reasonable. Great value for money and a very... More

The log fires and character of the hotel make it a charming place to stay. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants... More
