This is our second stay at Edgcott House, and my husband and I always leave feeling totally spoilt. The attention to detail in the rooms and bathrooms are first class…locally sourced aromatherapy products in the bathroom, freshly baked cake each day left in your bedroom…if only I could live there forever! I have yet to mention the breakfast, which is... More

This guesthouse is in a superb location in the middle of the Exmoor National Park, it had comfortable rooms and the owners make excellent breakfasts, with local produce, home made jams and home made baked beans (highly recommended to try).

We spent the night here for my wife's birthday and it was delightful. When we arrived we were greeted by Penny and shown to our room where there was home made fruit cake and fresh milk for a cup of tea. The bed was very comfy and next morning we had a delicious breakfast (what a choice!) in the elegant... More

My daughter and I have just returned from (i think) our 4th visit over the last few years. As lovely, welcoming and delicous as ever. And this time, Penny had to cater for gluten free needs which she did beautifully. My daughter was thrilled with all her breakfast choices and afternoon cakes over our 5 nights. Two of us, two... If you are reading this with a view to visiting Edgcott House stop now and book. The house and it's owners are welcoming, warm, elegant and charming. I could waffle on but why bother, it is flawless and it is faultless.

Yet another great stay at this wonderful B&B, the owners are just so friendly. We arrived to find two delicious brownies waiting in the room and had one of the best night's sleep in the huge bedroom and super comfy bed. We then woke in the morning to eat the best breakfast in England and possibly the world! Home baked... More

As everyone else has said, could not find a single fault! Beautiful room, beautiful house, beautiful surroundings! The only mistake we made was not getting up for breakfast on the Saturday morning, Sunday morning was fantastic and we realised what we had missed! Thank You for a fantastic stay!
