This is the second time that we've stayed in this very welcoming B&B. Both times we have found the owners to be very friendly and knowledgable with the local area. It's a dog friendly B&B but is still very clean, these things don't usually go hand in hand. Can definitely recommend their cooked breakfast too. Would happily stay again and... More

The room was very clean and spacious with a massive bed. It felt very bright and cosy when the sun was shining in. The owner was very friendly. And we had the best breakfast of all three places we stayed during our trip. There was a wide selection and the quality was very good. The location is good. A few... More

Arrived at the Hotel (not a hotel and only just a B&B) The windows were dirty and streaky, the pool at the side was full of green water which looked like it had not been cleaned for a long time. we went to our room with "Sea View" well only just! the TV did not work, the shower had a... More

We stayed over the August Bank Holiday weekend and had a great base for our break away. Wonderful breakfast......variety of cereals and a choice of hot food too! Room was clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. Hosts David and Diane were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great value and only a short walk down into village for a couple of... More

Friendly welcome, stayed open late, good size and quality breakfast in the morning, free parking, short walk to the beach (cove). Only downside was the room was a little compact, and not much open nearby for eating late at night.

This was an amazing stay. Great value for money. Excellent breakfast and the hosts were amazing. Nothing is to much trouble. We will defiantly be back and will bring the kids next time. They would love the pool.

Great value, clean rooms and excellent breakfast! Worth a visit... Walking distance to the beach, pubs and shops. Hosts are very friendly and create a relaxed atmosphere, rooms are a little dated but as a whole do not detract from the overall stay and I will visit again!

Stayed 3 nights at Saffron House as an extended family with a 2 and 4 year old. Absolutely lovely spot high up off the road and 5 minutes walk to the beach in Combe Martin. The small pool, garden and patio area at the side of the hotel were ideal for the children, as was the small games room which... More

We stayed for one night at the Saffron House Hotel and was really impressed. The room and en-suite were compact but immaculate. We had the "belly buster" breakfast which lived up to its name! Would definitely stay again.
