Spent 2 nights here on a beautiful weekend towards the end of September. Friendly and helpful owners. Good breakfast to set us up for the day. Well equipped and presented room; obviously recently redone and spotless. Bit of a steep chute to the car park behind the property but not uncommon in this part of Devon. Overall thoroughly recommended

After staying at this hotel we felt compelled to write this review. To start, I think the most telling observation of this hotel is the sheer number of positive reviews in relation to the single negative review. Having read the said review, I can only surmise that this is unfortunately the down side of a review system in that no... More

we stayed at Acorns after reading previous reviews and we were not disappointed, Steve and Denise are lovely couple and made us feel very welcome. Denise always had time for a chat and a laugh at breakfast time while Steve was in the kitchen cooking a really good breakfast, we found out on our last morning that they did evening... More

We had such a nice stay in Combe Martin with Denise and Steve. Friendly and helpful hosts, nice room and great breakfast. So close to beach and shops and convenient car park round the back. Perfect relaxing break; thank you! :)

We stayed at the Acorns for 3 nights, 3rd week in June. It's a real gem! Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, great hosts and clean, comfortable accommodation. Steve met us and showed us to our room and made it clear that we should just relax and come and go as we pleased. Combe Martin is a beautiful place and, like the rest... More

We had initially gone for the camping option at Somersault Festival but given the weather forecast looked a bit shifty (and we were travelling with our 3 month year old son) we opted to book a b&b instead and we were in for a treat. The property is located in a stunning village right by the sea with breathtaking coastal... More

Our visit started with easy parking and warm welcome. Quick check-in with all info given.. We stayed just one night in Room 5 at the back of the house so very quiet, room was just what we needed, small but nice and spotlessly clean. Some fixtures & fittings are bit dated but we didn't expect to stay in 5* boutique... More
