This is a lovely place to stay, beautiful scenery and the owners are the nicest people you can meet. I stayed with my husband and two children. My husband was working and as I don't drive I initially thought I would be stuck in. The owner kindly offered me and the children a lift to lynmouth and we had a... More

Fifth visit so says it all. Great place away from it all. Owners are great and leave you to chill out . Very dog friendly. Good location for walks and pub two minutes walk away. However if you want to self cater it's got a well equipped kitchen.

We loved our large and comfortable room with the four-poster bed, and the views to the greenery at the back. Breakfast was in a large sunny room with a standard English breakfast, and afterwards we enjoyed walking through the lovely grounds. The bedroom was spotless and there was always lots of hot water . The location a few miles out... More

We have just stayed in the self catering apartment at Millslade for the sixth time, a wonderful relaxing two weeks. Thanks to Keith and Carol as always for there warm welcome and for letting us share such a lovely place. We enjoyed our recent stay at Millslade House. It was clean, comfortable & well equipped, and Keith and his wife made us very welcome. Breakfasts were excellent, and Millslade is in close proximity to the equally excellent Staghunters Inn where we enjoyed our evening meals.

We stayed here for two nights with two other couples, it was perfect for walking to the pub in the evening and for walking on Exmoor and the Lorna Doone valley the next day. The rooms were very clean, warm and cosy, plenty of hot water for bath and a brilliant breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here and would... More

Just to make clear we stayed at the campsite not the house. Keith was friendly and helpful. The site is very basic. Two toilets in a trailer and non drinking water on the site. A shower, about two mins walk away in the parking area of the house in. Trailer is basic but lots of hot water. 50p in the... More

Cheerful, friendly, helpful owners. Beautiful old house in a quiet setting. No problems with parking. Room was big and very clean. Breakfast fantastic. I think I can say that the house at night was the most peaceful, relaxing place I have ever stayed in. Just what you want to return to after a busy day sightseeing.
