I have just stayed in the Langstone Cliff Hotel for the past 10 weeks whilst working nearby and cannot fault it. The staff are amazing, very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I ate here almost every evening and found no need to travel out of the hotel to eat elsewhere, the food was tasty, hot and freshly... More

My husband and I have just returned from a weekend break at the Langstone Cliff. This isn't our first trip but one of many. A place that we have been going to for several years. The reason we favour here is not only the most beautiful surroundings, cream teas to die for and peaceful location but the caring, considerate staff.... More

Clean, friendly, lovely location and very child friendly. The baby listening service allowed us to eat in the restaurant in the evening. The hotel allows dogs in the lounge area but the lounges were always clean and welcoming. The themed weekends are very pipular

We spent a week here on a bowls tour of the local bowling clubs. The hotel was very nice , the food was excellent, and the staff were very helpful considering there were 50 of us in the party i would throughly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is only a 5min walk to Dawlish Warren train station and there... More

Lovely location and nice grounds with outdoor swimming pool. Comfortable lounges. Our room was comfortable and we were pleased we could swap the duvet for proper sheets and a blanket. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was reasonable but definitely 3 star, not 4 star.I liked the breakfast sausages particularly. Wonderful ballroom, but poor sound system. Overall our experience... More

And what a treat it was, we could not have wished for a better weekend. We were with you for the Summer jazz weekend, & we enjoyed it immensely. Our room was really nice, with a comfortable bed, & a lovely bathroom. I see one of your recent reviews was not happy with the food, but we found the meals... More

The room was nice and so were the grounds. Breakfast was ok but it would have been nice to have freshly cooked rather than everything from the buffet. Likewise dinner which was mediocre. Nothing fresh for the main course, just a tired buffet with dull, lifeless vegetables. We didn't like Dawlish Warren (or Dawlish) much but that's not your fault!... More

Hello, Thank you for your comments, we are glad you liked the hotel and grounds. We are sorry that you did not like Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, there are many pleasant areas to visit only a little further afield, with Exeter, Torquay, Haldon and Dartmoor all falling within a 20 minute radius of the hotel by car. Teignmouth, Newton Abbot,... More

Stayed at the Hotel whilst attending a school reunion which was hosted in the Washington Suite. This was not my first stay and therefore did not hesitate to book again when I found out the reunion was being hosted here. This visit was taken with my sister but previous visits have been with my family. As ever the welcome was... More

Enjoyed a lovely stay at our local hotel for our school reunion. Room was very clean but decor is a little dated, breakfast was ok. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon sat in the garden with old friends but we had to clear away dishes to another table because no one came to clear the table all afternoon. Even when another guest on...
