As a youngster, in a high chair, I used to come here for tea on Sunday's - from Plymouth. Standard fayre for me was two boiled eggs and marmite soldiers. Well with an old friend we drove out to Two Bridges. OMG it is lovely! Fantastic setting and although they could not deliver the egg the food was superb. This... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but just stopped on our way over Dartmoor. We had a cream tea which was lovely if expensive(£ 8.50) and ate it outside in the sunshine . A good place to refresh after a hike on the moor.

When driving through Dartmoor around midday on a Thursday when we saw a sign for cream teas. We stopped in and found a charming olde world hotel and bar. We met a lovely Welsh man at the door who worked there and we chatted for a while which was really nice. When we entered we asked to have one cream... More

A very friendly atmosphere welcomed our party of four for a late, light lunch. We sank into deep leather sofas, and were waited on. The beer was REAL, local and excellent, the choice of fare was extensive, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The park was ample, the grounds were extensive, the setting was idyllic.

We stayed here at the weekend to attend a wedding being held at the hotel. First impressions are good and the surroundings are so tranquil and beautiful. The receptionist was friendly and helpful when we arrived. The room was ok. Fairly spacious and clean with a lovely view of the river, moor and the geese. The ensuite bathroom had a... More

Visited today for lunch. The surroundings are glorious and initial impression good, lovely panelled entrance with large leather squashy settees and vast coffe tables and open fires. Stop right there.....the first pint of beer was cloudy and off, tasting as if from the bottom of the barrel however the bar staff said it was because they were running out of... More

Having spent a couple of nights in Somerset we travelled over Exmoor and Dartmoor to arrive at the Two Bridges Hotel in mid afternoon on Fathers Day.
