My wife and I decided to stop of for a Devon cream tea (Scone, Jam, Cream, Pot of tea) for of all we were charge £17 for our teas, the scones were a disgrace, the scones were in fact rock caked, and very hard, I would have complained but a wedding was in full swing, so I refrained from doing... Dartmoor can be beautiful, bleak, and remote, all at the same time. Nestling by a stream on the Tavistock/Princetown road, the Two Bridges Hotel offers a promise of warmth, comfort, good food and drink in the middle of just such an environment. Its building is old, a little rambling, but most definitely charming. Alas the geese no longer parade up... More

Every visit to The Two Bridges Hotel is a delight. We have stayed several times & take our dogs. The hotel is very traditional & has a big open fire in the main lounge to curl up in front of with a nice coffee... Or glass of wine! There are plenty of sofas to sit on. They have a selection... More

What a great hotel. Only had one night there whilst on tour but it left a great impression. Staff were great, wi fi worked well and food was excellent. Great sized room, well heated for the cold evenings.

Stopped off on way home from Cornwall. Cream teas were pricey but the best we have had, scones straight from the oven loads of cream and jam. Staff warm and friendly too. Lovely surroundings, would recommend.

Stopped off for some cream tea and Scones, polite staff and good service, sat in the gardens, which is tucked away round the back and safer for children to run around in, very pleasant experience overall.

What a magical place - a gorgeous old hotel. Unfortunately we arrived too late to enjoy an evening meal here but I can say that our room was very comfortable, the staff extremely helpful and courteous. We enjoyed evening drinks and a wonderful full English breakfast. I was sorry that I couldn't stay another night here.

Last week I visited with my elderly parents from Monday until Thursday and we were treated like royalty. The service was excellent, all staff were so obliging it was a real pleasure to be in such a beautiful setting with very attentive staff, especially Michelle the restaurant manager (hope that's the right name), such a kind girl. She went out... More

We had a most fantastic steak meal in the Tors restaurant. Excellent food at an exquisite venue all topped of by the most excellent service by our appointed server - "Maitre d'hotel" - Simon. Thank you - we will be back very soon.

I live in locally and thought I'd stop in for a cream tea, steep at £8.25, however they looked lovely and it is a 'nice' hotel. My tea arrived, with plate for the scones which would 'arrive shortly' sadly it didn't, many more came out and I chased mine up, sadly after both cups of tea were finished, still no... More
