Many years ago I used to stay at the Two Bridges when I wanted a relaxed country hotel so when I was passing through recently I stayed again partly for nostalgia. Sadly the hotel is now overpriced and has lost its old atmosphere. The staff fawned over a business party and were offhand to individuals. I was told that I... more

We have just come back from staying here for 1 night. We were given the Bridal suite room 39. The room was beautiful. Queen size 4 poster bed with sitting area, high beams and beautiful old photo's on the walls. The bathroom was spotless and had a double jacuzzi that not only was big enough for the largest of people... more

The hotel is in a great location. We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi, the rooms are spacious. The four poster beds are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was okay, and the portions were huge. The staff were very friendly. The hotel has a very cosy atmosphere. more

Located in the middle of Dartmoor National Park, Two Bridges Hotel is a perfect place to relax after walking in the moor. Our room #12 - with jacuzzi - gives a direct view on the "funny geese's diner"... The restaurant is pleasant and the staff is really nice and helpful. Good for short break (the price is high if room... more

Attended an event at the Two Bridges with a large group of colleagues. Located outside Princetown in the middle of Dartmoor, this hotel is ideal for walking and outdoor pursuits. Our trip co-incided with awful weather but we still managed a walk. The hotel is a comfortable and warm refuge from the moor. It comes into its own at night... more

Visiting Dartmoor for my birthday and to introduce walking on the moor to my Fiancee. Was originally staying in the "Ring of Bells Inn" at North Bovey but after one night stay deciding to move here for our second night. Stopped by for lunch after a morning's walking. Siting in the lounges deep leather chairs and a roaring wood fire... more

I see nothing has changed since we last stayed there a couple of years ago. Scruffy small room, poky shower room and a full price. Food good in the restaurant which was freezing cold (it was November) but outrageously high prices. We only stayed because we had to go to a wedding there otherwise we wouldn't have even looked at... more

Setting amazing, evening meal was superb, but rooms, considering the price were below what was expected. Have jacuzzi baths which would be OK except water was luke warm and started to run cool when only half full. Also TV wouldn't work. When mentioned at dinner told there was extra switch. Still couldn't find this when retired to bed and eventually... more

We booked the hotel through a last minute internet deal so we didn't pay the full room rates - if we had, we would certainly have complained! However for what we paid, we felt we received value for money. The hotel is desperately in need of a makeover, it is cluttered, chintzy and full of clocks, none of which actually... more

WHAT A GOD AWFUL PLACE When we arrived we were impressed by the building & the location. On entering the building there seemed to be every inch of the walls covered in goping, depressing Victorian Chince. We had to wait at reception for nearly 10 mins before being greeted by some squeaky lady who insisted we sit and have a... more
