We called in this afternoon, on our way across the moor for coffee and a snack. After managing to get past several people smoking in the entrance way(is this really necessary) We found a table that was just being cleared, he walked away leaving the table dirty. I asked the barman if the table could be cleaned(shouldn't need to do... More

Thank you for your feedback. While we cannot really overcome the issue of smoking outside, we surely cannot let our standards slip as they obviously did on your recent visit. I will certainly be reviewing how this lapse in service arose. With regard to our busy times when the hotel is full, we will be mindful of making this clear... More

From start to finish the Two Bridges Hotel and all its staff were superb and simply faultless in helping plan and deliver our bespoke and personal wedding. Hayley the wedding co-ordinator established with us what we wanted for our wedding and in the year running up to it met us regularly and was always available to ensure our vision of... More

Had a wonderful overnight stay here this weekend. Lovely log fires, cosy sofas, public rooms beautifully decorated for Christmas, toasty warm (despite the chilly temperatures outside) bedroom overlooking the moor with large bathroom & spa bath. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated/furnished, full of character. The food was absolutely superb and the staff could not have been... More

The Two bridges is on Dartmoor and very warm and welcoming - we took our Dog, she was more than welcome. There are open fires very country cozy. We have stayed before and booked in for 2 nights in January 2015 again taking our Dog. We noticed that they have themed weekends which look fun.

My sister and her husband treated myself my husband and a friend to afternoon tea. We were made very welcome and looked after by all members of staff and enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea of sandwiches, cakes, scones and cream, our teapot was refreshed with hot water, without having to ask which I thought was a nice touch. I was very pleased... More

I went to the 2 bridges with 5 friends from out of town. All my friends enjoyed the food and service and atmosphere also it was at Christmas time so the Xmas tree and log fire were very picturesque. Very good value for money. I didn't use the hotel bedrooms so I can't really comment on that.

When we visited the place was getting redecorated so main lounge was unavailable. Had lunch, I had the steak and ale suet pudding and my friend had the ploughman's lunch. The ploughman's was superb. Beef, ham, pork pie, cheese, bread and a range of excellent pickles. All for 12 pounds. He was very impressed. my meal was fine but vegetables... More

We've just returned from our third stay at the Two Bridges Hotel, and my impressions of the place improve with each visit. It really is in the middle of nowhere, and is in the perfect location for long walks across the moor. It has everything that you'd expect from a country hotel; large sofas and roaring log fires, lots of... More

I had the worst cappuccino and croissant I think I've ever had a few days ago. The croissant must have been bought in at 100 for a pound- in no way did it reassembled a croissant and was stiff and very cold. The cappuccino was merely a very milky coffee which made me feel sick. The cheapest cafe would have... More

Thank you for your feedback albeit not really what we like to hear. I am sorry we let you down on this occasion. I have instigated some additional Barista training as a result and made sure we are more vigilant. Barry More
