Stayed 1 night on our way to Cornwall. We received a warm welcome greeting on our arrival. Our room number 10 was large and clean. Fairway Lodge is certainly in a rural area and stands in wonderful grounds. The breakfast was very nice and fresh fruit and cereals also available. Plenty of nice white towels in bathroom. Would recommend.

Stayed here 2 nights while travelling around Cornwall with friends. Rooms were clean comfortable & well equipped, plenty of towels. We stayed in room 4 at the front, once the windows were closed you couldn't hear any traffic, which was non existent overnight anyway. (Perhaps some people are light sleepers & should mention that on booking) We asked if there... More

We had to book a night's stay at short notice and there were limited options in the Okehampton area due to half-term. It's not surprising that we were almost the only guests at Fairway Lodge since it's not well located (some distance out of Okehampton and you have to drive to find a restaurant) and something else is lacking which... Dear anonymous, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your very short stay with us. As far as our location, we advertise as a ‘Rural Guest House’, the clue is in the name and we are not next door to restaurants and pubs. Even so Okehampton is only 3 miles away and offers lots of choices for evening meals... More

We stayed for 3 nights but could easily have stayed longer. Very clean, comfy and roomy accomodation in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was lovely and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Perfect location! Very nice owners and great breakfasts. We had a king sized bed! Two rooms, one for the kids (they are older) and one for us! Nice place! We spent one day traveling through Cornwall and the next on the moors. I would recommend the Fairway Lodge. They change our reservation to two nights at the last minute, no... More

Stayed here for an overnight stopover but wished we had stayed for longer. A spotlessly clean and comfortable room with excellent facilities. The breakfast was superb with locally sourced and very tasty ingredients. Resident proprietors were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.Added bonus was a licensed bar at sensible prices and an outside terrace where you could sit and... More

The owners are wonderful people and are most welcoming, and I wish I could rate the lodge as highly. In truth, the building is dated, but not in a characterful way, and the room we stayed in was basic and cheaply furnished. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom spacious. However, there was a ancient square 13 inch TV hanging... More

We enjoyed our stay here. The service was good and the location convenient on the road between Oakhampton and Bude. Some rooms overlook the moors in the distance and breakfast was beautifully served. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we would stay here again.

We staid for one evening as a break on the long journey to St Ives. Fairway Lodge proved an ideal location being in the lovely Devonshire countryside. The bedroom we had was really nice, clean and comfortable. We received a friendly welcome which continued throughout our stay. The garden was linked with a closely mown field so there is plenty...
