Lovely hotel to stay at. Never stayed in a Travelodge before but we thought it was excellent. The room and facilities in the room were exactly what we wanted - nice and clean, kettle for making tea/coffee (very British of us!!). We were there for 1 night as we went to the Dartmoor Railway to go on the Polar Express... More

The king size bed in our room was very comfortable. However the 2 singles in the room were simply awful, with springs you could easily feel with the lightest touch There is a new restaurant next door called the Hog & Hedge which served nice food, had a great kids play area and a nice open layout

Stayed at this hotel in December 2014, while doing the polar express in oakhampton. Which was a 20-30min drive to station. Love the hogs head restaurant opposite the hotel lovely coffee/ cakes in the day. And managed to get a late pizza take away which was nice. Enjoyed our stay, and would use this hotel again.

I have stayed in a few travelodges over the years and i can honestly say that this was one of the cleanest, well presented one yet. Plenty of parking, quiet, friendly staff, clean and cheap - all you can ask for really. Well done.

We stayed here on a Saturday night after a family funeral. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room but it would have been nice to have some hot chocolate sachets too. It was a very cold evening when we arrived and staff had put on... More

Stayed at this Travelodge for the 3rd time and never disappointed. A recent refurbish has left it clean, up-to-date and very quiet with very helpful staff. Close to Dartmoor, Tavistock Goose Fair and Exeter. Went to the Little Chef next door for breakfast and won't be going again! Half a bowl of lumpy instant porridge is not my idea of... More

Rather than the 220 miles to Cadgwith in the evening, we decided to overnight at this Travelodge. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was also nice and quiet. Dinner and Breakfast was at adjoining Little Chef which was OK in absence of any other choice.

We chose to stay at the Travelodge as it was near to a wedding we were attending on Dartmoor. It was impersonal and basic but clean, as we'd expected. There are new, comfortable mattresses, but unfortunately these are teamed with rock hard, fat pillows - very uncomfortable and causing a poor night's sleep (we've stayed in Premier Inns, where there...
