Stayed at this Travelodge for the 3rd time and never disappointed. A recent refurbish has left it clean, up-to-date and very quiet with very helpful staff. Close to Dartmoor, Tavistock Goose Fair and Exeter. Went to the Little Chef next door for breakfast and won't be going again! Half a bowl of lumpy instant porridge is not my idea of... More

Rather than the 220 miles to Cadgwith in the evening, we decided to overnight at this Travelodge. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was also nice and quiet. Dinner and Breakfast was at adjoining Little Chef which was OK in absence of any other choice.

We chose to stay at the Travelodge as it was near to a wedding we were attending on Dartmoor. It was impersonal and basic but clean, as we'd expected. There are new, comfortable mattresses, but unfortunately these are teamed with rock hard, fat pillows - very uncomfortable and causing a poor night's sleep (we've stayed in Premier Inns, where there... We stayed two nights at the Travelodge and overall were very disappointed with what we found particularly as the advert said it has been refurbished! We stayed because it was the nearest budget accommodation to a social event we were attending. The Travelodge is situated at the back of a garage forecourt in a dark gloomy area. The site is... More

My husband and I have never stayed at a Travelodge before. This time, on our journeys to and from the West Country we stayed at the Travelodge Whiddon Down near Oakhampton. We were tired after our drive(s) and seeing our room were quite surprised at it all. Yes. It is an ultra basic place, but it is clean, with shower/bath,... More

This travelodge is not pleasant. It is located in a gloomy site, especially if you arrive at night. The exterior and the interior is run down and my room had a very bad odour. The towels were terrible and the wifi did not work because the signal was too weak in the room we stayed in. Best to avoid this... More

This travelodge is very modern and clean. Our family bedroom was very generous in size which accommodates one King size double bed and 2 single beds. The view was on a typical Cornish field and was very nice. A bit noisy though. I would recommend it for a family break. Another complaint is that there are not many power points... More
