We normally drive straight to Cornwall for our annual Holliday, this time we went early and decided to stay a few nights at Small but very comfortable caravan site called Bun Du, here we found a small public house called the Prewly Arms, here we found the staff to be very polite and the food to be excellent, it is... In 2012 we discovered this little pub as we were staying at the travel lodge across the road. We had tea here and discovered it was lovely homemade food in a traditional pub,we were on our way to Padstow the following day and had said if the trip was to happen again we would stay here instead as the food... Originally stayed here as a one off as ideally situated for a local work project. Was a little open minded based on some reviews. Sarah and her team could not make us any more welcome, really comfortable beds, (more so than my bed at home) excellent, real quality home cooked food. All at decent affordable rates and we'll worthy of... More

Yes, it still needs work, but if you need a place to have a decent beer, feed and rest this hits the spot. Bedroom was spacious, the beer was cold, staff friendly and breakfast was just what the doctor ordered. If you want a little more quiet ask for a room out the back.

Popped in here for a quick drink and to feed our baby midst walk and am so pleased we did. Sarah behind the bar was really friendly and lovely to chat to and very complementary of our baby girl! The place is set out really well so there are lovely sofa areas, a roaring fire, tv if you want it... More

We stopped at the Prewley Moor Arms for lunch after a wander along the Granite Trail to the viaduct. The pub looks better inside than out, wide and spacious with good wheelchair access to many areas. (I don't know about the loo!) and it was quiet when we visited (weekday lunchtime). Food was very good, as was the service, with... More

We were welcomed by Sarah -- not that busy in the bar -- but she has now made the bar and dining area so lovely - comfortable and relaxing we shared a starter little parcels of goodies with a lovely fresh salad followed with fish pie - good pieces of tasty fish and a smooth potato top yes a good... I often wonder if I go to the same place as other people, having read a few poor reviews I wondered if I have been in the same place. The land Lady Sarah could not have been more charming. I live locally and often drive past this place but today I called in, I didn't look at the time but... More

My husband and I stayed at the Prewley Moor Arms at the end of October, having previously eaten there and been made very welcome by Cathy. On our last stay the landlady was away and despite the shower being feeble and no WiFi connection it was adequate. On arriving this Saturday evening we met the landlady and were surprised that... The business has been recently taken over by the the current owners, their main priority at the present time is to keep the business up and running and moving forward, they are aware of improvements that are to be made, but due to not having an endless pot of money, progress can be slow. The public house is not a... More

A few friends decided to have a meet up for Christmas drinks the weekend before Christmas and as this pub is at a central point we descended on it unannounced on the Saturday afternoon. Sarah was very friendly and even though we hadn't planned to stay here she gave us a good deal even though it meant she had to... More
