Warm and friendly welcome from Mark and Lesley on our arrival, Mark stowed our bikes with care. Beds very comfortable and room was nicely furnished and spotless. Breakfast catered well for my husband and I who are vegetarian and our 5 friends who are not. Well organised, warm, clean and comfortable accommodation, no hesitation in recommending.

Much larger and smarter than you could envisage from the road!.... Great guest house. Big, recently refurbished, well looked after and extremely warm! Also securely locked our bikes away for the night. Great help. And directly on cycle route. Owners more than happy and willing to help. Breakfast was lovely and items provided in room were high quality. Definitely worthy... More

We chose Meadowlea because it's directly on the cycle route and it's pretty popular with cyclist for that very reason. The owners had us checked in and bikes securely stowed in no time. Our room was bright, clean, fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of options including yoghurt and fresh fruit, and a lovely cooked breakfast which didn't have... More

Comfortable nights stay at this excellent B&B. Owners are very welcoming. Room was good with comfy bed, small TV, tea and coffee making facilities incl cookies, and washbasin. Shower was good too. Breakfast was good, incl fresh fruit, prunes, yogurt, cereals, and full cooked selection. There is a lovely sitting room with tropical fish and free WiFi too.

we found this place as it was on the way to elsewhere; but the home is lovely, the room delightful and owners particularly nice. We found it easily and could walk to the small downtown area for dinner. Parking is on the street. I loved the cleanliness, attention to detail, and in room tea. everything was clean and nice.

Hmmm. Stayed at Meadowlea as a stop over before going on to Cornwall. Didn't know the area so kind of stuck a pin in a map and looked up Okehampton. The reviews for the place were good so we decided to book. Sorry we did really - not because of the B & B but because of the town! The... More

Sorry, I feel as if I should have been cautioned that anything I said would be taken down and used in evidence against Okehampton. We have already responded to the comments left on our own site, so were surprised to be notified of the review. Our bland road is mainly made up of 4 - 7 bedroomed granite houses dating from... More

I have recently completed an End-to-End cycle ride, and this is one of the B&Bs I stayed in. My plan was to stay in privately owned facilities, rather than chains. This is a great place to stay, I’ll be back to this location again. There was a place to park my bike overnight, in a secure/locked shed. A pump to... More

Just had to let you know about this lovely B&B. Mark and Leslie are so welcoming and their B&B is spotless. We had a great night's sleep on a really comfy bed and the breakfast was FAB, will definitely be staying again.
