The twin bedroom, Tamar, was delightful and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were welcoming, friendly and chatty. Very pretty B&B with extra nice touches like bathrobes being available and generous amounts of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits which made it a very relaxing evening. Excellent and thoroughly recommend Hunters Moon.

Stayed for one night whilst cycling the Devon Coast to Coast. The twin room is lovely with fabulous bedding and wonderful soft towels. The owners were very friendly and helpful and put our bikes in the garage immediately on arrival. There is a very good pub down the road too.

My wife and I had three wonderful nights B and B at Hunters Moon. Everything was of the highest quality, food, room and service from John and Diane could not be faulted. We are certainly going back again. Irene and Campbell, Dorset.

We stayed here on the second night of our Lands End to John O Groats bike ride. Our bikes were safely stowed in the garage. Everything about Hunters Moon is lovely - the welcome, the beautifully restored cottage, our exquisitely pretty and comfortable bedroom, the location, the breakfast and there's a great pub just down the road in the lovely... I have just had three wonderful nights here! Firstly, it's very easy to find and ample parking! You are met with a very warm welcome by the hosts / owners Diane & John who are very kind, helpful and have lots of local knowledge about things you may want to do or places to explore! The B&B is in a... More

Excellent and friendly couple running a splendid B&B in a 300+ year old cottage. Comfortable room, very good home cooked breakfast. In a quiet small village, located on the outside the cottage has plenty of free carpark in front.

Myself and my husband stayed here for 1 night with our 10 week old baby and had a lovely stay. We were provided with a travel cot which was very helpful. The room was a good size and provided coffee and tea facilities. Our bathroom was over the corridor but we were the only room that had access and with... More

Having visited the area before we were looking for a B and B in the village, my wife loved the name, hunters moon, so we booked and it did not disappoint. Lovely welcome, our room looked out onto the Moors and that night we saw a 'Hunters Moon' which made it rather special. Lovely bath robes in rooms which was... More

My Wife and I stayed for 2 nights in July 2013. A very good B&B with very good facilities, food and service; what more can we say than a delightful place to stay. The Village is close by good walking areas on Dartmoor, and Okehampton is just a few miles away Thoroughly recommended

We had 3 excellent nights at Hunters Moon. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts very filling. They were very helpful, storing my husbands bike safely and allowing our son,who was staying with friends nearby to avail himself of the shower. We could not have been looked after better.
