We stayed for one night during bank holiday week-end. A wonderful hostelry set within the centre of a charming small town. Room extremely clean and cosy. Small restaurant, lounge and a very busy bar with a fine array of traditional beers. There was live music on the night we stayed - an added bonus. Food lovely - we had evening... More

Four of us had an evening meal in the restaurant, as we were in the area on holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I said I have Coeliac disease, which means I cannot eat gluten. I was advised what was suitable from the menu by one of the staff whose wife is also coeliac. We didn't... More

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting family. A really nice, old, clean pub. The room was a nice size, very clean. However, we found the bed very hard and not very comfortable, resulting in a bad nights sleep.

Had a three night birthday treat with my wife. Great stay right in the middle of the town but with easy access to The Moor. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast very good. And a music quiz on Sunday night when we came third! Overall, lovely time.

Reasonably priced, attractively furnished, excellent breakfasts, great pub meals, and even parking. Gary and Julie are running an outstanding inn, and we were delighted. We stayed in the family room, which was vast--a queen plus two sets of bunk beds (and a porta-crib in the closet). Bovey Tracey is a nice little town, and we were a few minutes drive... More

the room was very good and a fan was provided for the heatwave. the power shower and bathroom fans were noisy. the kettle had to be either plugged as to sit on the floor or behind the bedside cabinet. plenty of tea and coffee. free internet was patchy and better in the bar. Friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was very... More

We stayed here in the family room, with our 8 and 6 years olds. It was a nice size, clean room with two bunk beds, a double bed and a very good shower. Welcome was friendly from the minute we arrived until we left. We ate a fantastic evening meal in the bar / restaurant, food was all home made... More

We received a warm welcome from the start. We ate in the bar area because we have a dog and the food was good. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a good choice of breakfast and the full engish was great.

Discovered the Cromwell Arms on a visit to Bovey Tracey. Popped in with my wife for a lunchtime snack and a drink. The place was clean, friendly and served a wide selection of real ales. Food was super and the beer was perfect. Would thoroughly recommend visiting if you plan a trip to Bovey Tracey. Will definitely return soon.

We went here on a family holiday with the grandparents for our first trip to the southe west in the UK. They gave US a nice big room with a good sized bathroom. The room was clean and quiet. They have a nice ale selection at the bar. They were helpful. The only annoying part was that there were two... More
