3 nights at Cromwell arms, very pleasant staff, made everyone so welcome, would certainly recommend, everything top notch, & will definitely use again, as family 5 minute walk away, so close to the moors, & beaches, lovely

Gary and his wife have really got this pub "cooking on gas" Great beers (superb Ring 'O Bells "Dreckly") & wines. Beautifully furnished rooms, fitted with all that the visitor needs. Their hands on, friendly approach is really working well for them. I was disappointed with the evening meal and feel that they could do better in that department.

An extended weekend in early march, our third visit to this lovely pub, the rooms clean, quiet and comfortable, a varied and large breakfast menu, with generous sized portions to set you up for the day. In the evening a good selection from the menu and the specials board. Bovey Tracey is a good base from which to explore Dartmoor,... More

Last week myself and family had one night at Cromwell arms. The staff were lovely. We arrived earlier than check in as was attending a funeral and they let us into the rooms early to change for which we were truly grateful for. The family room is massive and we had lots of space. Breakfast I couldn't fault even made... More

Stayed in Bovey Tracey and went here for an evening meal. Staff were helpful and attentive. And the meal was superb. Would definitely recommend eating here If you get a chance. The menu was good with plenty of choice. And they were happy to make changes in order to satisfy personal choices.

We stayed in a cottage near Bovey Tracey for Christmas. We visited the Cromwell Arms Hotel three times during our break. Each time we walked into the inn there was an instant warm welcome from the bar staff. We had a meal in the restaurant on Christmas Eve which was very good. On top of this the landlady kindly borrowed... More

It's now just over a year since I first visited the Cromwell Arms and after several subsequent visits I thought it was time to update. What hasn't changed is the enthusiastic and welcoming attitude of the staff and management, all reasonable requests are met cheerfully and quickly. The award-winning bar still has a great selection of well-kept beers and speciality... More
