Stayed a couple of nights in August. Warm welcome and lovely spacious, comfortable and well equipped room and en-suite bathroom. A lovely Edwardian house and fine garden in a quiet but convenient location. Breakfast was excellent and the attention to detail throughout was exceptional.

Stayed for two nights in early August - great guest house - wonderful building, beautifully restored with lovely guest rooms. Great breakfasts using locally sourced ingredients. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the surrounding area, although Bovey Tracey itself has little to offer and the weather rather curtailed our intended exploration of nearby Dartmoor!

We were lucky to be in Iris so woke to a view of sunshine on Dartmoor. This was quiet, comfortable, and friendly and an easy walk from the village

Unfortunately only a one night stopover, but everything about Brookfield was just right. Lovely house and garden, very comfortable accommodation and first class breakfast. Easy walk in to the village for an evening meal. Laurence and Frances have got this just right and are very welcoming, informative and professional.

Everything was perfect. Friendly welcome from Laurence, spotlessly clean room, wonderful view over the magnificent garden, every comfort thought of, superb breakfast by Frances with a wonderful choice. It was our second visit and we will return to this beautiful place.

Brookfield House is situated just outside Bovey Tracey and is perfectly placed to discover (and walk) on Dartmoor. It has won many national awards and the owner is justly proud, and so he should be!
