This title is an inspiration in that I wish my home was like the rooms available at the agaric. Wonderful decor and comfortable beds resulted in a relaxing sleep. Lovely home cooked breakfast to start the day

A very convenient location, nice,y done rooms with a modern vintage sort of feel. Wonderful breakfast too. My only frustration....it really should have wifi. It's not expensive to do, but really necessary for hotels these days. However, rooms are limited both here and in Ashburton and I'd happily stay here again.

I reached the point where I just needed a one night break from the children, just to read a book, have a long soak in a lovely bath, get a really good night's sleep, and have a relaxing breakfast with the newspapers...... all without having having a biscuit dropped in the bath, being woken every 2 hours through the night... This is a very well appointed and stylish hotel made up of several individually decorated rooms. Finished to very high standard. The owners were extremely pleasant and helpful location in the centre of Ashburton is excellent. Ashburton itself is the first town UK an (d abroad) in many years which does not have a high Street, saturated with global brands... More

I stayed here for one night with my mother in August. We had one single bedroom and one double and the double was upgraded to their very large and luxurious bedroom. The large bedroom was extremely good with a large bathroom with shower and roll top bath and the room had a very comfortable four poster bed and was very... More

We stayed at this b&b for (sadly) for just one night! We were attending a wedding nearby so didn't eat at the restaurant. the welcome ( in the kitchen shop next door - wish I'd had more time as would have spent a fortune!) was most warm and we were promptly showed up to our exquisite room (the Havana). Lovely... More

I have returned to Agaric many times over the last five years. The decor and design of Sophie is superb, the welcome always genuine and the service and food - at breakfast and in their restaurant a few doors away - beyond compare. The location in a charming small town between the moors and the coast makes a wide range... More

situated on a main road in Ashburton, Devon, I stayed in this hotel for one night, in a single room with individual and tasteful decor. It felt cosy and full of character. Our evening meal was served at the B & B from the restaurant owned by the proprietors. The food was beautifully presented, hot and prepared with fresh ingredients.... More

Agaric B&B is perfectly suited to mini-breaks. The rooms are furnished to a high standard (the Roberts radio was a novelty!) and the bathroom was beautiful! With only 4 rooms, Agaric offers a personalised, bespoke stay - I particularly liked the homemade biscuits which greeted us on arrival! The location (in central Ashburton) is perfectly suited a short stay -... More
