We had an inside double room for one night- would have liked to have stayed longer but they were booked. Lovely room with double doors to a conservatory area but the shower was very small and there was no bath. Wi-fi free and good signal in the room. We ate in the bar- we had the mussels and the monkfish... More

Having paid £135 per night for a double room with a harbour view we were very disappointed by the standard of the accommodation. The room was shabby, and below the standard I would expect at that price. Cheap old furniture, stained worn carpet and ageing decor. It was also very noisy with buses and delivery lorries stopping outside. Overall it... More

Nice clean rooms, the food is really good, and the staff are very polite, on the down side parking 400 meters away, and no lift, the stairs are very steep therefore it is unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Loved this hotel, it was rambling, no lift and we wondered what we had booked however when the door opened on our room I was amazed, it was sumptuous, Kingsize bed, beautifully decorated, small but perfect bathroom and even a small flask of sherry with glasses. The view from our window was outstanding. There was a singer in the bar... More

We have just returned from a two night stay in this lovely hotel in beautiful Brixham. We had a terrific harbour view from our room. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. We had dinner on the first night included in our package, and it was of such quality, we ate in the hotel on the second night also.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in June; our room was great, a good size and very clean. Sherry and jelly beans provided which is a bit quirky but nice, a bit like the hotel itself. The building has lots of character and our room had good views of the harbour. Staff were friendly. However the restaurant was disappointing -... More

Booked a week at The Quayside Hotel after reading the good reviews, so we were a little concerned by some of the later reviews we saw. We needn't have worried. We have had a delightful week, the hotel is excellent, the staff brilliant. It is difficult to single any one of them out, the delightful ladies on reception, always smiling and... More

My Husband and myself visited Quayside Hotel at the beginning of June whilst on a short break in the area after a lot of deliberations because there didn't seem much choice in the area for quality resturants so after doing a search of Brixhams best decided to go to the Quayside ! Well this was the start of a real... More

We are very sorry to have caused you distress over what in the end was an administrative error on our behalf. As you were non resident diners and did not stay at the Hotel we had no other method but the telephone to contact you. Our Head Receptionist tried on many occasions to phone you but was unable to get... More

We live quite locally, but needed a night away from the kids and the house, so decided to book into the Quayside. We were really lucky, as we were booked into a fab sea view room with a balcony, which was great seeing as we booked late Sunday afternoon and only for 1 night! We requested a bottle of Prosecco... I stayed for one night and found my room dull and characterless. The view from my window was the room opposite's window about 2 metres away Spending any time in the room would just be depressing I'm afraid so avoid room 42 which at £95 for B&B I found really overpriced. On the plus side the breakfast was good but... More
