We stayed on a Travelzoo deal, but didn't bother to upgrade the room. We had a comfortable room and enjoyed some drinks in the Ernie Lister Pub before dinner. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Why have I not given it a 5 star rating? Because my sirloin steak was chewy and was probably from the same... More

We had a Travel zoo deal and thought it an excellent venue. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and very peaceful. There was a great choice of food in the restaurant and the fish was superb. All this and live music. What more could you want?

Only had one night DB&B, but wished we had time for a longer stay. The hotel is something different, having previously been six fishermans cottages, so it is easy to get lost in the maze of different corridors. Unfortunately the car park is 350 yards away, so what with that and the various corridors and stairs (no lift), it is... More

Lovely, friendly staff. Clean room (a few cobwebs but it is an old building), although quite small. Ate in the restaurant. Chose steak which was tough! Should have chosen fish as in Brixham, on reflection.

Welcoming staff & restaurant superb. This is not a dull travellodge type of place. If that's what your looking for, then this isn't for you. This has charm of the history of the buildings. lovely harbour views. Room was good. A little tired but very comfortable. Lovely time & going again soon.

We stayed for one night between Christmas and New Year, 2 adults and a 10 year old. We had a family room, which was fine... The weather was terrible so we decided to eat at the hotel in the evening, something we don't do as a rule, we like to explore the town and eateries. So glad we did!! The... More

Stayed here two nights whilst visiting friends in Brixham. The hotel has a lot of 'olde world charm' don't stay here if you're looking for pristine, modern etc. Friendly, welcoming staff, comfortable beds and the sea view rooms have a nice view of the Harbour ( even on a wet weekend in January ) We ate in the restaurant on the first... This was our 2nd stay in the Quayside, and we certainly wouldn't hesitate to book a 3rd. Our room was more than adequate, tea/coffee, tv etc. A little on the warm side, but I'd rather just turn the radiator off than be too cold? Staff are friendly and helpful. The resturant is exceptionally good, and the menu had enough to... More
