Two night stay with first evening meal included. The food and service was excellent. Great local fish on the menu. We sat by one of three windows with views overlooking the harbour. Beautiful scene both by night and day. So suggest you request one of these. The hotel CarPark is up the road a short yet significant distance because of... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a good value Travezoo deal over Feb half term. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals were good although I felt the lovely sole didn't need an over rich sauce. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was fine. However the staircase to the room was indeed very... More

Hotel does have a tired look but get past that it has bags of charm and character as it is old cottages adapted to make the rooms and ours even at the rear of the hotel was fine and presentable. Location of the hotel is great for access to the town and harbour, car parking is a bit of a... More

We spent 2 nights here - one as a Christmas gift and the additional one we paid for. Inevitably because of the location its a bit of a rabbit warren and doesn't pass our 'old lady test' i.e. access to room only via narrow stairway up which you have to carry your case. Room adequate but small - we had... More

Booked with Travelzoo £89 for DB&B and a glass of prosecco. The 'Very Good' rating is for the food rather than the room. Had read the reviews and knew we would only have a standard inland room with tired decor and that is what we got. The room was spotlessly clean but noisy from an extractor fan (luckily I had... The staff are very pleasant and efficient nothing too much trouble Food was very good always hot and served with passion "not just plate slinging" Hotel warm throughout even when externally very cold External work being carried out but not a problem to the guests as work pattern set to avoid hours when residents are likely to be around Room... My wife booked the Quayside Hotel , Brixham via Groupon for £89 DBB for my wife and I for 1 night. We were initially apprehensive on seeing a rather dated Hotel exterior and tired interior. However our room was spotless, with excellent facilities and having upgraded to sea view had a wonderful view of Brixham Harbour. The restaurant food, devote... More

Just arrived back from 2 fantastic nights. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable and the staff are fantastic - really friendly. We had a sea view superior room which had great views of the harbour, and would certainly recommend booking one of the sea view rooms if possible. Yes, some of the corridors are a little 'tired' looking but... More

4th time staying at the hotel. We love it here. Love: Quirky rickety passages. Amazing food. Such a reasonable price - 4 day stay in Devon, in August. Chef cooked the boys the mackerel they caught from their fishing trip! Rooms well kept and decorated in keeping with style of hotel. Family, personal service. Not sure what I would change... More

This hotel let the people who work there down. They are lovely, friendly and warm unfortunately the hotel just didn't live up to their enthusiasm. The deco was extremely tired, there was an awful smell on the floor outside our room, we were in number 27 (the size of a shoe box and inland, so at the back). There was... More
