Overlooking the inner harbour, plenty of activity to watch & a short walk from the centre of Brixham. Comforable & friendly. I was a little disappointed with the food-for a Hotel with an extensive choice of Fish,it was suprising that chef sent out two fish courses overcooked to dryness. But the rest of our party enjoyed all their meals, generous portions &... More

This is a lovely family hotel overlooking the harbour at Brixham. The staff are vey friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located just up the hill from the town, and just down the hill from historic Mariners Inn pub. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast options are great and include a full english breakfast. Brixham is a... More

We recently returned from a three night stay after getting married, and had a lovely time. The hotel is situated up a hill providing wonderful views over the water. We chose a back room just as they were cheaper and we figured we wouldn't really be in the room much, but if you'd like to wake up to the lovely... More

There was only one room available when booking this hotel. Unfortunately it was at rear and up two flights of steep stairs. The room itself was a bit dated with dark furnishings and very noisy drawers! Between the two single beds, there seemed to be a slight smell of a dog being present at some stage. Other than that, the room... More

Old, quirky hotel with some character and in a great location. The corridors were looking rather tired and in need of redecoration. I booked here based on the price and positive reviews. For the £60 I paid for a single room with breakfast it's one of the cheaper options in the Torbay area. The bed linen and towels were white... More

The Quayside Hotel was situated up steep hill with superb views of Brixham Harbour. The staff overall were very friendly and attentive. The family room we had (32) was perfect when the spare sofa bed came in handy as my parnter snoring is horrendous and i was able to get some sleep in "spare room" so to speak!! Would certainly... We last stayed at the Quayside about 15 years ago and had a wonderful visit. This time though, we found it had deteriorated - a lot. Our room was large, but hadn't been cleaned properly - dusty cobwebs hung from the ceiling and the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. Mattress soft and lumpy, and the bathroom appallingly old. We picked this... More

Quirky seaside hotel with narrow winding staircases and cosy comfortable rooms. Ours had a lovely window seat looking out onto the harbour. It is situated in the centre of Brixham close to plenty of nice pubs and places to eat. A small fridge in the room would have been nice, but apart from that would definately stay again.

Can only say good things about our 3 night stay. Was told when booking we had a small double room but it was fine with plenty of room. Very comfortable with free Wi-fi and good range of TV channels. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Fantastic location easy to access the entire town and harbour with lovely walks.... More

We chose this hotel for a weekend break. I have read previous reviews and none appeared too bad. We arrived expecting it too be quirky, 5 cottages amalgamated together, and it did not disappoint. We booked a harbour view and that is exactly what we got. The room itself was quite spacious and it was nice to have 2 armchairs,... More
