This was the first time that our party of eight had experienced a Christmas Meal at the Quayside. It turned out to be a wonderful choice and the meal was first class in every way - food was plentiful, beautifully presented and hot. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure the evening was enjoyed by... More

My husband and I stayed for a night in November on a travelzoo deal. Brixham is a pretty little village and the quayside hotel has a lovely view of it. The hotel is quirky, clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The meal we had in the evening was excellent as was the breakfast. It was excellent value and... More

Visited with my husband in November. Although the inside of the hotel is a little tatty, it has a really lovely homely feel to it, the room was very clean, really comfortable and quiet. Had a room at the front and it was very quiet. The bar area was lovely and very comfortable. Met a nice couple too so shared... More

The staff here are so friendly and that made a great initial impression when we pulled up to get directions to the car park. Our room had its own balcony/patio, and the member of staff personally showed us to our room and pointed out the aircon, heater and ceiling fan should we have temperature issues (we didn't). Everything was clean... More

We stayed on Saturday night 22 November and initially I was a little doubtful, we had to leave our bags at reception and drive the car to a separate car park in the rain! then the stairs up to the room looked a little tired and grim and I thought oh no what I have I done. But the room... More

Stayed mid Oct for 2 nights on a travel zoo deal. Quaint hotl, steep narrow stairs, but nice comfortable inside room, opening up into a conservatory type area through French Windows, which for me was a huge plus, as I thoroughly enjoyed stitting out there with my book. The bed was comfortable, and we both slept well. The room was... More

This was an offer with Travel zoo and was a great bargain. We went with friends for two nights and really enjoyed the excellent food and quirky hotel . We would recommend this hotel and intend to go back. The only down side for us was that pets were allowed as we would not normally choose to stay in a... More

Excellent hotel perched overlooking the harbour with great views. Hotel car park is a 5 min walk away but not really a problem. Very nice room, spotlessly clean and well furnished but a little small if anything. But that is part of the charm and quirkyness of the hotel. Narrow staircases etc. 3 minute walk to the harbour. Room at... More

Thought this was overpriced for what it was. Excellent location and harbour views. free fast wifi and good choice of TV channels. Average breakfast but a nice pub attached with decent food. The one big problem was the noise in the room from outside. The windows are not double glazed and it seemed that every sound from the traffic, seagulls and... More

Great little hotel which being pet friendly was a bonus as we got to take our little spaniel on holiday with us! The furnishings are a little dated, it reminded me of my great nans house which I found quite charming. Beds were amazing! Had an incredible nights sleep. Bathroom was clean but the shower had little power behind it,... More
