We try to squeeze as many long weekends at the Berry Head Hotel as we possibly can. Helpful staff who go out of their way to please, great food, lovely rooms and a relaxing atmosphere....................just feels like home from home.................oh! p.s. did I mention the view? AVOID UNLESS either VERY RICH or VERY STUPID. If you are neither, you'll care about being ripped off for LOW QUALITY ACCOMMODATION and 2ND RATE SERVICE at hugely INFLATED PRICES. Very disappointing customer service. The room was shabby, the bed linen was musty and stale smelling. Recent visit for a meal left a lot to be desired, the starter ordered did not arrive and when questioned the girl serving the main course said it was on its way. I am so sorry that this guest was unhappy with their food. Problems can occur fom time to time, and all we ask is that they are raised immediately when they can usually be addressed. This review follows one a few days earlier extremely complimentary about the food.

It makes me sad and angry that such a poor hotel is allowed the priviledge of this stunningly beautiful and unique location, because it is a truly wonderful and special spot.
