We stayed here last year before we go married, and I have felt guilty that I never got round to posting a review. Can't recommend highly enough, its beautiful, clean, comfortable with fantastic hosts! Hope to be back soo!

I stayed here for just one night while walking the SWCP. The beautiful little cottage is tucked away in the narrow streets, well away from the main roads. The B&B accommodation is fabulous - being the end section of a lovely old cottage. There is a really comfortable sitting room and two bedrooms upstairs. All are immaculately presented. the location... More

Took my daughter down to Braunton for my brothers 50th birthday party , and there was no room at the Inn, but luckily for us he pointed us in the direction of Silver cottage. A lovely picture post card cottage that oozes Devon charm. The owner made us feel at home and is a charming lady with a flair for... More

We arrived at Silver Cottage , after a long days walk on SWCP to be welcomed by Sophie who offered us a cream tea including freshly made scones , what a great start. The accommodation itself was excellent. In addition to our bedrooms we had our own lounge including a magic mini-kitchen ( the size of a cubbard but absolutely... More

My family and myself have been going to Saunton for over 30 years and after one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had to endure at The Saunton Sands Hotel a couple of years ago I vowed to never stay there again. As a result of a large family reunion this weekend in Saunton I searched Tripadvisor for... More

A wonderful place to stay. It is a little further off the SWCP than I would have liked but more than made up for that by being. Fantastic place to stay. As previous reviewers have said Sophie is a very welcoming host. After a long walk it was lovely to be greeted with coffee and a homemade cream tea on... More

Silver Cottage envelopes you from the minute you arrive on the windy hill leading up to the most charming cottage and garden. Matt, Sophie and the children could not be a more enamouring family, and made us feel so very welcome. The cottage itself has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room with a diddy kitchenette. The self-contained nature... More

Sophie has to be the loveliest B+B landlady there is! Silver cottage is beautifully decorated, the breakfast is incredible (think homemade jams, freshly laid eggs, homemade bread etc etc) and NOTHING is too much trouble. Sophie obviously enjoys what she does and her family are all so welcoming, including her mum. There are 2 double rooms with a shared shower... More

We have just returned from the most perfect break in the most perfect place. Silver Cottage is outstanding - beautiful surroundings and perfect accommodation. Spotlessly clean, crisp white bedlinen and a breakfast to die for! Sophie and Matt made us so welcome - we will most definitely be coming back!
