We arrived late in the afternoon and met Matt attending to their two lovely children in the garden. He immediately advised us where to park the car before we unloaded. Once settled we met Sophie back from shopping for supplies for our stay. A lovely welcoming family with a beautiful B&B. Breakfasts set you up for the rest of the... More

We visit Braunton often but since having kids have found it tricky to find a good B&B for quick weekend escapes. I searched and found Silver Cottage for this last weekend and what a find! Absolutely fabulous and brilliant if you've got kids. The cottage adjoins the lovely hosts (Sophie & Matt) house but through thick stone walls. There are... More

"Silver Cottage is just heaven" (according to Mrs S). This was a memorable B&B - lovely people (Sophie and Matt), the run of our own separate little cottage in the picturesque old part of Braunton, outstanding home produce, and a really warm welcome. The cream tea with homemade scones and jam on arrival was particularly tasty and welcome, after we... More

We were on our fifth and final day on the coastal path having stayed in a different B&B each night. This was definitely the best. Sophie and Matt have a passion for making their B&B a special and welcoming place to stay. The cream tea with homemade scones was delicious and breakfast equally good. Bedrooms are cosy and the lovely... More

What a stroke of luck to come upon after an endless walk from Woolacombe to Braunton on the South West Coast Path. This place is so homey and country pleasant. Do not pass it up. You will be in love. We loved the town too. Sophie made us feel like long lost friends rather than guests. Fabulous...... More

What a wonderful way to spend a few days. A beautiful cottage set in a gorgeous garden with the friendliest hosts you could ask for & the best breakfast- all locally sourced if not home grown!. The beds & linen are lovely & there is even a self contained lounge & small kitchen for use during the day. The beach... More

Silver cottage was a perfect base for a very relaxing and fun weekend in North Devon. We arrived late so didn't get to appreciate quite how cute the property was until waking up next morning, and I did this as a dove was cooing outside our window. There were lots of lovely touches that made the cottage immediately feel like... More

We stayed here for two nights in August and it was one of the best B&B's that I've stayed in. We arrived very late on Friday night but this was not an issue - Sophie and Matt were very understanding and we had no issues getting in the property. We were very pleased at the standard of the accommodation -... More

Gorgeous B&B where every last thing has been though of. I would recommend this cottage to anyone - particularly if you are two couples looking for the perfect balance of privacy and comfort. Sophie and Matt - (and their gorgeous kids) looked after us perfectly, providing a great base where we were free to come and go, had somewhere to... More
