I stayed in the single room, which did not have en suite facilities but the toilet was next door (and was for my use only) and the bathroom next to that, there was also a handbasin in the room so this did not present a problem. Nicky was a lovely host and the welcome most warming, loved the coffee on... More

Stayed with a friend of mine for one night this week. The room was clean and cosy with all you'd want for the night (TV, kettle / tea + coffee, big fluffy towels, crisp bed linen etc) as well as nice little extras (the Oreo cookies were expecially welcome). A warm welcome, great local knowledge and a delicious breakfast (with... More

Stayed here whilst visiting family. Lovely comfortable bed, slept well both nights. Was treated to a fantastic spread at breakfast. I would recommend this guest house to anyone and will be returning. You get given two keys one to your room and one for the front door. You can come and go as you please.

This is the second time we have stayed here whilst visiting family in Braunton. Nicky always gives us a warm welcome and the offer of hot drinks and biscuits on arrival is an added bonus, which is much appreciated after the long journey. The rooms are quite spacious, ours had an extra bed which is great for keeping those essential... More

Very friendly and most welcoming. The room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed. The choice at breakfast was great, beautifully cooked and delicious. We came to Braunton to visit our family who had just moved to the village. A huge thank you to Nicky, who invited them for breakfast with us(the grandparents) on our final morning as a welcome... Best b&b in town. Always feel welcome and Mrs brook is as helpful as ever. The closeness to the great braunton beaches makes this an ideal base. I'm sure that you will happy with your choice of guest house , I know I am.

After a really busy few months arranging our daughter's wedding we decided to visit Stockwell Lodge B&B for a well earned break. From the start Nicky & Graham welcomed us like family. We were rewarded our long journey with a nice cup of tea. Our room was very clean and tea& coffee and water was available. Breakfast was a feast.... More

This was my second visit to Stockwell Lodge with my wife in two years. This time we came with friends to cycle the Tarka Trail. From the friendly welcome with a cup of tea on our arrival to the great cooked breakfast that set us up for each days cycling, we were made to feel extra welcome by Nicky and... More
