This delightful guest house is beautifully run by its owner Nicky. She is a great cook who clearly cares about all aspects of her guests' experience. It was a superb breakfast. We were greeted with cookies and tea on arrival.

Stayed 2 nights here on a surfing and cycling weekend at the beginning of October. Nicky was friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. Rooms are clean amd comfortable and breakfast is excellent. Plenty of parking and storage for bikes and other sports equipment. Would happily recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

What a lovely b&b this is! We've stayed in lots, and this is one of the best. Nicky was welcoming, helpful, accommodating and had great advice for the local area. Our room was BIG! It's so nice to have space to move after being in lots of tiny b&b rooms. And it's clean, with tons of cupboards and shelves. The... More

Upon arrival Nicky made us feel welcomed and after a long journey the offer of a hot drink was very much appreciated. Little touches like adding... More

Clean and comfortable beds and good breakfast set up well for next day. Friendly host. Just perfect. Thank you. Perfect for walkers - easy to find and near the SWC path... More

We stayed two nights at Stockwell Lodge and wish it could have been longer - we can't praise Nicky Brook and her team highly enough for the family atmosphere they provided and their willingness to impart information about the local area. The house is ideally situated in a quiet one-way road, very close to the heart of this village, with... More

We picked this location because it was close to the South West Coast Path after a few days of a walking holiday. The Lodge was welcoming, cosy, clean and comfortable. Our host was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about the local area which really helped us make the most of our time here.
