Have been coming back to this lovely place for many years on both pleasure and business trips. Absolutely adore everything about it. I need not say anymore as the other reviews give a great assessment. Highly recommended to visit any time of the year for a truly enjoyable break.

We stayed here for one night. It's in a lovely position right on the river. Convenient for all over Devon. Lovely rooms with everything you need for a stay. A bonus is that our room opened out onto a grassed area where if it was warm you could sit outside. Very welcoming staff. Parking right outside our door.

A lovely olde world pub/restaurant/hotel/guesthouse.I Booked in here for one night. The room was number 11. Upstairs and with a view of the river and bridge and weir. The room was lovely with a nice bath although because it is a loft style room with beams the shower is not great use to a tall person. The room also has... More

Stayed the night for an anniversary celebration. Comfortable lodgings. The room was warm and welcoming. Food was nothing special but quite edible. Generally had a good time. Last night stay was 15 years ago. Certainly not disappointed with this one. Will stay again.

I have stayed twice at this hotel recently and will stay again without hesitation.the setting is truly beautiful. Nothing better than having a cold pint on a summers afternoon by the river. Rooms are good and accessed externally from the main pub. The food is good and beer very reasonable. ample car parking and across from another nice pub if... More

Our comments are based on the Christmas set meal we had. Based on a good experience two years ago we went for a much needed one night break. Before going we needed to be sure that they would be able to cater for one of us who is coeliac as we were thinking of having the pre-booked three course Christmas... More

My husband and I stayed at this lovely old Inn for two nights last weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The Inn is beautifully situated next to the River. We stayed in Room 11 which has a great view over the river and bridge. Lovely, clean and spacious but watch out for the beam. Breakfast was probably the best we... More

We stayed here for 2 days as we wanted to visit a couple of National Trust properties. Never having stayed in the area we were very fortunate to find this very warm and welcoming place and we also had room 18 which is quite a coincidence. Clean, warm and comfortable room with a spacious bathroom, excellent. Staff very attentive and... More

How lucky we chose this inn for our stay in Bickleigh...we arrived in the morning and called in for coffee. We were warmly welcomed and invited to check in as the room was available. Room 18 proved to be warm, clean and spacious with a large en-suite bathroom. The Inn itself is positioned on the riverbank, by the ancient bridge...totally... More
