The first time I went in the Imperial Hotel was in 1974, just for a drink. Been in and out over the course of time, as have family in Guernsey, but this is the first time we've stayed. Picked it out due the really good deal for last weekend, and I know all about the location at Rocquaine, which is... More

Did not stay over, but found this hotel, whilst looking for somewhere to lunch. Used the public bar, and ordered bar snacks, friendly clean and reasonably priced. I have to say the largest tuna melt I have very had. Very tasty.

We chose this hotel for its location and it is dog friendly. And were very very pleased with our choice. The hotel is possibly a little dated and old fashioned, with a simplistic breakfast menu (English fried breakfast and variations of) and fairly standard lunch/dinner menu. But in its location it more than made up for these few minor points.... More

We had three nights here at the end of September and really enjoyed our stay. Our room had wonderful sea views as had the dining room. It's true that it may need a little updating but our room was large, clean and perfectly adequate.Perhaps rooms at the back suffer from noise from the locals bar but ours was very quiet. The food we... The first thing to strike you about this hotel is its location. Looking out over Rocquaine Bay to Fort Grey and Lihou Island this must be one of the best views on the west coast, or indeed the whole of the island. The restaurant serves on the whole well cooked food which is nicely presented but be prepared for a... More

We found this hotel to be very good value with the important factors present for an enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a lovely location and breakfast was a great start to each day eaten whilst enjoying the magnificent views out over the bay. Breakfast was good with a range of cereals including muesli, fruit yoghurts (would have liked a... More

Room was tiny, all furniture was old and partially broken, plug socket hanging off the wall. The bathroom again was very small, the shower barely worked, furnishings old tatty. We stayed on a Friday night and had to endure kareoke very loudly from the bar until after midnight. Staff were not helpful and there was nobody around to hand our... More

May I once again send a big thank you for our stay at the Imperial, we enjoyed the room which was looked after by the mysterious cleaner whom we never saw but carried out her work really well. However, the icing on the cake is the meals which as usual were superb. The cheesy vegetarian sticks for breakfast were a... More

Having been booked into the restaurant for lunch. Found the staff to be great and the food even better. I had fish Medley and I was the best fish I have tasted on the island so far and have been here five days. Keep up the good work and I hope the people visit you.

Aurigny from EMA arrived just in time to miss the last Sark boat of the day. So a perfect opportunity to stay overnight and enjoy Guernsey's West Coast. The Imperial was recommended to us after a disastrous stay at Cobo Bay Hotel. The Imperial was great. Wonderful staff and manager who really cared that our stay was good. Great food... More
