We have been coming here for years when flying out to visit family in Guernsey, the food is really good with a childrens option as well, swimming pool is good for children but really cold, location is good just across from the beach with hotel views looking out, easy to hop on a bus and get around the island. Rooms... More

Had Sunday lunch at this hotel 3 years ago and was impressed with the roast then and so decided to chance staying at the L'Eree Bay Hotel for a week's late break. Hotel is located in a really good position looking out across the bay. The causeway to Lihou Island is 20 mins walk away and the headland has glorious... More

Stayed here previously in 2013. Plus points - excellent food (breakfasts and dinners) and pleasant waiting staff. Very nice location, only 100 yards from beach! "Minus" points - no record of our booking when we arrived at the hotel to check in, receptionist had to call manager, who didn't seem to be able to help. Told that there would be... More

Nicely situated on the coast with bus stops directly outside the door so you don't need a car here to explore the island. The owner is also the chef and the food here is absolutely excellent. There is plenty of variety and no excuses for going hungry. Breakfast is buffet style and the only criticism I can make is that... More

We have just spent a wonderful holiday at The L'Eree Hotel. Yes, it does look a bit tired and dated, but the service you get from the staff is A1! The rooms are spotless with clean towels every day. We only stayed B and B but on a couple of occasions, had the evening meal and another time ate in... More

Basic Hotel in picturesque location . Most of the rooms have sea view at no extra charge . Super . L'Eree (pronounced L'Ray) is just across the road from one of the best sandy beaches in Guernsey . The sun is facing the rooms most of the day and it could be hot in summer ( no air con )... More

Positives are friendly staff, right on beach and bus route for island. Negatives are cheap food used, rooms/bathrooms very dated plus communal areas also swimming pool had no loungers. Overall you get what you pay for but hotel ready for a re-vamp I think.

Turned up without booking and luckily there was a free table as was very busy. I had the fajitas which were fantastic. Good atmosphere and food came quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed it. If I had to pick a fault it was that the portion was so big I didn't have room for what I'm sure would have been a lovely dessert!

There's a lot about this hotel that could do with updating, fixing, or frankly, starting from scratch BUT very friendly staff worked hard to look after us and it was ok for our needs and quite a bargain for a late summer break. The brasserie food was good, with enormous portions. The kids loved the pool. The housekeeping service was... More
