Did we just step back in time we ask ourselves!! FAWLTY TOWERS or What!! minus Basil Fawlty!! Never saw anyone actually man reception in the 6 days we had the misfortune to stay at hotel. The whole place is extremely dated, I don't think they've done anything since the 70s! Dingy, musty, unpleasant stale odour in room. Rusted iron balcony... More

Have just come back from our 3rd year in a row to this hotel. Brilliant. Some bits in the guest rooms are tired BUT the rooms are spotlessly clean, the rooms are well equipped with telephone, television, tea and coffee, private bathroom. Food is excellent. You must try 'Frosties steak platter' or 'Frosties seafood platter (both names after Hotel owner,... More

This hotel is in a great location, just across the road from a good beach with sand & lovely sunsets. The tide does go out a long way so bathing is not a good idea near low tide but the hotel does have an outdoor swimming pool. The food is very good and prices of meals in the brasserie are... More

We have stayed at this budget hotel (2 stars) for a number of years now and find it an ideal location for the beach. It is not a luxurious hotel but Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Food on half board is excellent and a good choice available. The pool is ideal if not... More

Spent five nights in this hotel. Not the most luxurious but found food good, both breakfast and dinner, the room adequately equipped, friendly helpful staff, and a sea view that takes some beating. Hotel is perhaps one hundred yards from a good sandy beach. Area between is grassed with some picnic seats and tables. A bus stop outside hotel with... More

Superb location on the bay. The hotel looks like it was built from Lego, inside this impression continues, with passageways and doors here and there. Overall it's feels DIY everything works everything is clean, the staff are charming and helpful - if you're expecting the ritz this is not the place for you but if you want good value Great.

Reading previous reviews about this hotel needing a bit of TLC to bring it up to date, I agree with. BUT everything else was very good. Location - Brilliant just across the road from the beach. Room with a lovely view of L'Eree Bay. Staff - very friendly and helpful. Food - Very good with generous portions. 2 bars serving... More

We spent 4 nights here in July 13. The hotel is in a very pleasant position only moments from the beach and scenic walks. Food was very good, worth taking the dinner option. The building looks rather out of place and the rooms are dated but all was clean, comfortable and quiet with ample hot water. What more does one... More

Originally booked 7 nights - but return ferry cancelled due to bad weather - hotel offered us free accommodation (in association with travel agents) for 8th night. Meals excellent, we had originally only booked bed & breakfast, but after enjoying an evening meal there on our first night, we couldn't resist eating there every evening for the remainder of our... Some of my family stayed for 2 nights whilst travelling to the island for a wedding and found the hotel to be nice and comfortable and the staff were very helpful when asked for help/directions. They would normally stay in the town area but found the area and scenery lovely so will return! PS The Sunday roast was top notch.
