We booked and stayed at this hotel for our wedding anniversary Jan 2015. The hotel facilities were good and the location brilliant; right by the bus terminal that serves the whole of Guernsey, Food very good and the bar is open all day. Wifi available throughout the entire hotel and bar and is free of charge. Full English breakfast included... More

Stayed for a week and had a good stay. The room (Room 10) was good with a very very comfortable bed, and good views over the Harbour, other islands, and Castle Cornet. The rooms were clean, and well appointed. The manager from Austria was very friendly and extremely helpful, and could often be found in the modern and plush ground... More

I was not sure what to expect as the room was £49 for the night including breakfast. The reception is at the bar, but I was warmly greeted and my booking paper was already printed out. The room and bed were nice, the shower needed some TLC and the remarks by others of a brick wall and dumpsters (at 7AM)... More

We arrived and were shown to our rooms. First impressions were 'Blimey! how many floors up? This would not be a good place to stay if you have any sort of disability. Even though the pub got quite noisy in the evening we could not hear any sounds from the pub up in the rooms. A lot of the Hotel... More

This hotel has only recently changed owners so it is a work-in-progress. However the staff were extremely helpful and polite and I had a lovely supper there. The owner even took me to the airport at silly o'clock in the morning for which I was extremely grateful.

Where to start...most of the rooms at this 'hotel' have windows facing over a cobblestone alleyway which runs beside and behind the building. Sounds quaint, until you are woken late at night by drunken conversations in the alley, or at 5am by dumpster bins being dragged over the cobblestones, repeatedly. Or again in the early morning by the tradesmen on... More

We found the staff extremely polite and helpful, and the location opposite the marina was good. Although the room was large and the bathroom well kitted out the lever on the washbasin tap was missing and the carpet in the bedroom really needs replacing/cleaning/hoovering. I walked near the bed with socks on and collected hairs and dust yuk! However, I... More

We stayed for three nights. Found the hotel to be clean staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast very nice . The only downside no restaurant on a Sunday. Great location to explore the whole island. Hotel was full but was not noisy. Has great views from our room over to castle cornet. Tea making facilities in the room very good.

An old dockside building, so tall with narrow staircases. Location perfect if planning to see Guernsey by bus (which is highly recommended) because the central bus terminus is right outside. Tremendous views from windows on the front, across the marina to Herm, Sark and Castle Cornet. Rooms clean enough and large enough, simply equipped (no soap tray in shower, no... More
