Good central location and good value, just a few minutes walk from the harbour. Decent quality rooms, although could do with a little maintenance. Unfortunately our room overlooked the rear which contained the extract to the kitchen!! Very friendly staff and good breakfast

My partner and I stayed at this hotel from a Monday to Friday in August. We chose it fairly randomly online but it surpassed our expectations. Great room, great location and helpful, friendly staff. If you are fit and able-bodied you should not bring a car - there is simply no need. You can access everywhere you might want to... More

Only a few minutes from the harbour & high street. We did get lost trying to find it but some kind locals showed us the way & stopped us driving down a road that led to the high street where we could have incurred a heavy fine had we carried on - there were no signs to this effect so... More

Location is first class for exploring St Peter Port. There is a variety of room quality or more specifically size but all are quiet and well maintained. I only had a bar meal in the evening which was functional over exceptional but very well priced.

Hotel is in a good location in the centre of town. However it is difficult to find, even with the directions provided by the hotel. Hotel has a car park for 11 cars. Nice clean room (29) in the main building overlooking the car park/courtyard. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. As commented by some previous reviewers some rooms had... More

I booked this hotel because it's right in the middle of St Peter Port and we like to be able to walk to town centre pubs and restaurants. We had a room that was directly alongside a road, so there was a little noise late at night from revellers and early morning traffic. That said, neither was serious. The room... More

The Duke is located right in downtown, some 200 yrds to the pedestrian zone and 3 minutes to the coastline. Very traditional atmosphere paired with an attentative service, quality food and generous rooms make this place a great deal on Guernsey. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Looked lovely in photos, Close to the town, but hidden away... Walkable from ferry... Set in a courtyard, the room was very modern, luxurious, although quite dark, had to keep blinds drawn, as it's on a walkway ! We went in Feb half term, so apparently hotel not fully open, only bar meals.... Bar friendly, although very noisy at leaving... More

We booked this hotel on our travel agents advice based on their personal experience. They were not wrong. On the face of it its an average AA 3 star but its better than that. The location just out of the town centre was great and there was no excessive noise. Everything, it seems, was within a couple of hundred yards,... More
