Do not know where everyone else who has written a review has stayed, but surely it cannot be the same place. Booked 7 nights and could not wait to leave after only 1 night. Our room (7) stunk of chip fat and were told that the frying finishes at 2115hrs, so keep your windows shut until after that time!! Shower... more

Had a lovely week staying at the Wayside Cheer with my wife, daughter and my mum. We had a lovely room on the top floor of the hotel and our ten year old daughter and my mum had a really nice 'chalet' type room next to the pool. This hotel is lovely. The staff provide an atmosphere which has a truly welcoming spirit, a pleasant bar area and convenient seaside position and opposite handy shop.
