I was in danger of expecting too much from this, but it was just fantastic, beyond my expectations. We stayed for four nights in a very rainy week in October. The pods are incredibly comfortable - real beds, carpet, a bedside light, even wi-fi, for goodness sake. And the side tent with the bathroom (flushing toilet! Electric shower!) was really... More

Just returned from a 3 night break in the luxury camp. Great to get into the park as it opens. Watching Gorillas and Orangutans getting up. Fire in tent kept us warm and the hot showers were great. Loved waking up to see the Lemurs. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the campsite for 3 nights at the start of Sept. The campsite itself is quite spacious, each unit is quite private, you get your own designated parking space and the accommodation is great!! We traveled as a family with our 8 year old daughter. On our arrival, we were met by Ashley and taken to our tent... More

A fabulous tented encampment with a few luxuries laid on. It's eco-friendly so there is no fridge but they supply ice blocks and cool-boxes so only buy groceries for a day or two at a time (several shops nearby). The setting is perfect for a family as it's fun but with a comfy bed and a log burner in your... More

Vicky and Ashley who take care of the Pods were very welcoming, friendly and helpful? Our bedroom pod was spacious and had a comfortable double bed and drawers and hangers for clothes. As we visited in September we did need to use the romantic log burning stove at night. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and kitchen... More

Have just spent 3 nights in this amazing place. The pods are warm and carpeted with comfy beds. The shower works brilliantly, the kitchen is well equipped, and every morning we watch the lemurs sunbathe :). Heaven

Durrell is an amazing experience. A safe enviroment for children to roam ahead of mum and dad. Lovely food, although a bit pricey. We like to take a picnic and buy ice-creams afterwards. Souvenir shop is very tempting.

We recently returned from a week's stay at Durrell Wildlife Camp. The pods are great and well equipped. The weather was wet and at times chilly throughout our stay, so the comfortable bed and wood-burning stove were much appreciated. I was however a little less impressed by the simple and narrow single mattresses placed on the floor for the kids.... More

Glamping at its best! Clean, spacious, and well thought out . Excellent staff who couldnt do more. A fantastic week spent in a beautiful setting which not only relaxes but educates and keeps the kids amused! Waking up to Lemurs and Flamingoes wonderful. This is not a zoo but a conservation trust........ and definetly worth a visit. The combination of... More

A warm welcome from Ashley, a lovely spacious, picturesque site, a great location and individual free WiFi for each 'pod' - what more could you ask for! The nights were chilly, but the wood burner and thick quilts were a big help. Included in the price was kindling, logs, fire-lighters and matches and wristbands for unlimited access to the fantastic... More
