Fortunately not just nature lovers only, but enough other families with children to be a very special and very nice camp site indeed!! Our son managed to play footbal, our daughter played with other girls, so plenty of social life. The zoo is wonderful, the staff very friendly, and the island beautiful.

After falling in love with Jersey during a working summer season 17 years ago it was always my wife's, and my own desire to show our children this wonderful island. We first returned on a 4 day holiday 3 years ago and were somewhat disappointed by the standards at a different camp site on the island. Although we were less... More

We stayed here last week and cannot fault the site. Everything is provided in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom pods. All we had to bring was our food and toiletries. At night it became chilly but the excellent bedding and the log burner made us so cosy. We had our four year old grandson with us and he slept better... More

My partner and I plus our two kids spent half term at the camp and can't recommend it highly enough. Right from the start the staff were friendly and helpful, the tent, bathroom and kitchen facilities were impeccable and the wildlife park is wonderful. Sleeping next to the lemurs can give an early wake-up call but you soon get used... More

We have just got home from a 5 day break at the Camp and cannot praise it highly enough. The location (right beside the Park) is excellent, giving you the opportunity to see Orangutans and Lemurs from the camp as well as being able to hear the marmosets and flamingos calling out. The cranes (blue cranes and crowned cranes) call... More

We spent a fantastic weekend staying with my sister and her family in two tents. My husband and I and our 18 month old son were very comfortable in our tent and certainly found it well equipped. The weather wasn't the great and it was quite noisy at night with the rain pouring onto the tent, but I guess that... More

I now know what glamping is all about! Fully-equipped kitchen, your own toilet and hot-water shower, plus a proper double bed with sheets and duvet! Plus electricity and bedside lamps for reading in bed! I can definitely camp in these conditions! We'll be back for sure!

Just had the best visit to Jersey glamping at Durrell's campsite which is a truly 5 star facility and a gentle introduction to camping for those who aren't too keen, like my boyfriend. A log fire in the room, a separate kitchen and bathroom pod, very friendly and accommodating staff, unlimited access to the park, seeing baby gorillas and baby... More

The tents are very comfortable with well equipped kitchen and bathroom tent. Beds very comfortable. Bit chilly in May but the wood burner helped take the edge off. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the Lemurs and cranes calling was lovely. Durrell Wildlife Park is the best zoo I've ever been to. It is a beautifully... More

Just returned from having a great stay at the Durrell conservation trust Pod camping. The pods are really well equipped with your own toilet and hot showers. You have everything you need & you are in the grounds of the Durrell trust. At night ( whilst noisy) does feel like you are sleeping in the Serengeti ! Every day we... More
