So what if its a bit tired.....! The location, view and terrific service and friendliness of the staff make this a great hotel. Yes the decor could do with being brought up to date, and yes a lick of paint in some areas but waking up to the view every morning more than made up for it. The room was... More

This hotel has amazing views of Bouley Bay and cannot be beaten in this respect. The rooms were sizeable however have very little in them - no hotel information and few homely touches. Some fittings in our rooms e.g. lights and hair dryers were broken. Catering was a bit hit and miss and Wi- Fi was unreliable. Overall hotel was... More

Terrific views across to Normandy - great position - very clean - staff friendly and helpful, Food in both Hotel and Black Dog pub excellent. Great Breakfast. We had a sea view and well worth the little extra - very large room - more like a suite. Hotel a little dated and it has been extended but did not deter... More

This hotel is all about the location - and it can't be faulted. If all you want/need is rest a great view and excellent service then look no further. So what if it's a little 'tired' that doesn't take away from its fabulous views. And the rooms are really spacious and comfortable. Food and service in the main hotel was... More

Hotel is in a lovely location, it was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful, decor was a bit dated but the hotel is to be refurbished. Food was excellent both in the pub and the restaurant. Beautiful place to visit.

This hotel is set in a lovely location and boasts wonderful coastal views BUT it needs some serious money spending on it. I believe they are due a refurb, but until then you may find you are paying over the odds for a very tired room, with a shower that doesn't work well. The quality of food was good, but... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Water's Edge Hotel in Jersey. An excellent hotel located right on Bouley Bay, which is a nice and quite bay, with clear waters and excellent views. Both the receptionists we met were very helpful and friendly and also the staff in the restaurant were also very helpful. We had breakfast at... More

I tend to spend a lot of time researching holiday accomodation and this time it really paid off. I booked an apartment for a week for a family of 5. We were greeted warmly and personally shown around the apartment by Mark. Contrary to previous reviews there was supplies of tea, coffee, milk, dishwasher tablets etc. We had an issue... More

Although the staff were friendly the overall atmosphere did not match. The hotel surroundings were nice, The bedrooms were very tired and dull looking and not homely, no pictures on walls no nice little touches, which make all the difference when you are away from home. The rooms were well in need of a make over!! On a better note,... More
