I enjoyed my stay for a week there very much on the upper floor/under the roof. It is an old classical English-style building with twisted aisles, steps (no lift), a large living room area (lots of books provided), a small patio, everything a bit old with smaller repairs needed - but charming (and clean). For breakfast you can choose the... More

We stayed here as part of a group booking in for a wedding. We had a lovely double room at the back of the house on first floor we did not have a view but we expected that as it was a town location. The room was clean and spacious with well stocked tea tray. Bathroom was compact but usable... More

Lovely B&B, close to the sea front and only 10 mins walk from Liberation Bus Station. Very clean and tidy rooms. Lots of communal space so you're not always in your room. Lovely breakfasts with a good choice, together with a 'special of the day'!

Fairholme - our base to explore Jersey. Situated in a nice and calm road, 50 metres from the sea, we enjoyed our stay with Marina and her Team in St. Helier very much. The atmosphere of the house is very familiar, rooms are friendly, bright and clean. We liked the breakfast with daily changing specials. Don´t leave breakfast before planning... More

I did not like my room at Fairholme´s; it was 1st floor with a window towards a narrow backyard, where other guests could be sitting, chatting and last not least smoking, the smoke standing directly within my room as soon as my window was open. The room was clean and cleaned regularly, but the sink in the shower did not... More

My wife Linda and myself would like to thank Marina, Dave and staff for a very enjoyable stay, all were very helpful, the breakfast was nothing short of amazing. Marina was only to willing to give advise regarding what buses we needed, where to go for a good meal, and what to see and where. One very minor thing which... More

We stayed for 4 nights on our way back from France to Uk. The Gh was comfortable and clean, We had a room with a double bed and plenty of space for the baby cot which the GH provided. There was still plenty of floor space for our son to play on. Modern mirrored furniture and a comy chair! The... More

My wife and I spent a week here. The standard of our room, in terms of cleanliness, comfort and entertainment was excellent - with wifi, which was an added bonus! The owner was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she went out of her way to help and assist us. As others have stated, the location is... More
