Very expensive, hair dryer didn't work, shower not very good, in one of the bunk beds the wood was broken. There was spiders on the ceiling. Old and dated. The only good thing was breakfast and the waitresses were nice and polite. Won't be staying here again.

Very nice place, cosy bed and all clean and tidy. Would recommend, polite staff and friendly hotel.Ask for a room in the back, I have stayed in the front and unfortunately there is a zebra crossing just outside and can be a bit annoying the cars stopping with loud music.

I had a last minute business trip to Jersey on the busiest day of the year, and had very limited choice of places to stay. I was a bit wary simply because of the price.... But I absolutely loved this place. Yes the decor is dated, but the welcome and service is old-school too. No stuffiness, no forced smiles, just... More

We went to Jersey for a few days and found a hotel by internet. Coming from Gorey habour our bus dropped us off half-a-mile away from our hotel. The first though was: Far away from the city centre. Wrong; when we got settled, we walked outside the door, took the next corner to the right and were at the beginning... More

We just got back from a week long stay in the Mornington and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door and we hope to return again next year. The price was extremely reasonable especially for the location. The hotel is just a 5 min walk from the beach, 2... More

Five star service from the moment we entered the hotel. Christine made us very welcome and showed genuine concern for our enjoyment of our holiday to see Jersey and Tom Jones. The accommodations do not claim to be more than they are. The rooms are clean, well maintained and surprisingly quiet for being on a busy street. The location was... More

Just returned from an impromptu one night stay here as we got stranded due to bad weather. I have to say it was excellent. Really pleasant people, the room was comfortable and had everything you need, the breakfast was really nice and served by very pleasant staff. Overall can't fault this establishment. The location is good; very close to center... More

I have stayed here a few times now and have never been disappointed, it's 2 star so don't expect the ritz but everyone is friendly, helpful and the breakfast is excellent, the homemade marmalade is a must.

We've just come back from 4 nights at the Mornington Hotel and had a lovely time. The decor is a bit dated, but the room was clean and comfy so I can't complain. The hosts and staff were all very lovely and attentive. Tea and coffee in the room were replenished everyday, as were the towels. The hotel is only... More

My wife and I stayed at the Mornington Hotel for 3 nights in April. We caught a no.15 bus from the airport, and then walked to the hotel, a walk of 15-20 minutes. We were greeted by Christina and given room 17. The room was pretty basic, but very comfortable. We had a few drinks talking to Phil in his... More
