We stayed here for 2 nights, we visit Jersey often as we used to live in the island. As a Travel Agent I try to stay at different hotel. The staff are fabulous, we were welcomed straight away and made to feel at ease. The hotel is dated, but in a retro way ,it has a lovely reception area, places... More

From seeing the outside of the hotel, I felt as though the hotel seemed a bit old-fashioned however I didn't stick with that judgement. When I entered, it did seem a bit musky and old. The room has cork wallpaper, and the carpet was a bit tacky. The bed was really uncomfortable, didn't get a decent nights sleep. The shower... More

On arrival I noticed there was only 4 parking spaces which are very tight. The room is very outdated with a cramped layout. Wi-Fi was slow and would keep losing connection. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy with the slightest move. The bathroom stunk of bleach and has filler everywhere. The roof tiles above the shower are mouldy. The breakfast... More

We stayed here for three nights last month. The hotel was in a great location - close to town and great restaurants. Staff were very friendly and food excellent. A lovely hotel, very clean and well maintained.

Stayed here for one week earlier this month. The hotel was very close to town and the wonderful Howard Davis park. The hotel was very basic but clean with very helpful staff. Some new carpets and wallpaper would help improve the decor. Breakfast plentiful and served by professional staff.

Having read the previous comments with some interest I thought I would put my two pence worth in: If you are looking for somewhere that’s excellent value, clean, tidy, somewhere to put your head down after visiting the Jersey sights with welcoming staff (Christina at front of house and Phil at the bar) then you have found the right place... We spent what was to have been a week's holiday at the Mornington but had it extended by 3 days due to the problems with the Condor Liberation(that is another story.)From the first day we were very impressed by the friendliness of Phil and Christina, not to mention the Spanish ladies who served us the big and varied breakfasts.Muchas gracias a... If you are looking for somewhere basic, close to town and the beach then this hotel is for you. The hotel was very clean and served a fab breakfast. The hotel was right across the road from the Howard Davis park which was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We were stranded in Jersey with our 6 month daughter following the numerous cancellations of the Liberation last weekend and Condor Ferries put us up at the Mornington. It was easy to find and there was free parking behind the hotel. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help. Our daughter was thoroughly spoilt with attention... More

This place, and these people...Amazing. Another hotel in the area messed up our reservations, so we were stranded in jersey with 4 children. One of which is disabled. The lady at reception, christine (hope thats right) was just lovely. She had rooms, and she checked us in. We were so happy. There is no pool, and its not a modern... More
