My wife and I recently returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel and I must admit on arrival we looked on our stay with some trepidation as we espied its outdated decor. 1980's chip board and wood-chip wall coverings and our room had an avocado green bathroom suite with a tiny shower cubicle. However we soon discovered that... More

This was our second visit to the Mornington, having previously stayed there for a couple of nights in 2011. On this occasion, we stayed for 9 nights and some friends joined us as well to watch the NatWest Island Games. The hotel is old fashioned in terms of decor and but has a warm friendly atmosphere and real character. Do... More

Just got back from 9 nights at this hotel, whilst volunteering at Natwest Island Games. Christina and Phil are lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them or their staff. Due to my role at the Games, I had an early start every day and they happily provided lovely breakfasts for me. As I had to leave early to catch... More

Not a trendy, modern hotel with the latest decor, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in a good location the Mornington is highly recommended. All the staff from cleaners, through waitresses to reception and owner were extremely helpful and friendly, making the hotel just the oasis you need in a city.

We stayed here for 1 night and had a great room and a good nights sleep. Hotel has a car park at the rear which was a bonus for us so we could venture out not needing to drive Would definatly return and recommend

Booked this hotel via the internet and we were so pleased that we stayed here. Centrally located so handy for the sea and shopping. Hotel itself is a little dated but that just adds to the charm. Biggest plus are the friendly owners and wonderful staff for which nothing was too much trouble and helped to make this short visit... More

We were very pleased with our stay here and if we come back to Jersey we will most probably stay here again. Our first time in a room with a 4 poster bed. We arrived at the hotel way before checkin, but luckily there was a room available, leaving us free to explore having freshened up. The breakfast was delicious... More

We only stayed for three nights, but we found this hotel to be clean, cheap and very friendly. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast is everything you would want a breakfast to be, a choice of cereal, fresh fruit, cheeses and ham, with Jersey yoghurt to boot, lovely. All within walking distance of the town and main bus... More

My sister came over from the UK to visit us this weekend and as we had a night in town planned we decided to book in to a local hotel. The mornington had a great price for a twin room inc continental breakfast. It is perfectly positioned for town and just a stones throw away from Howard Davis Park. The rooms... More
