Lovely hotel, cleanest place I've ever been to, great food every day [and a good variety at every meal! ] and usually quick service at the bar! The pool and sauna was put to good use every day plus the jacuzzi. The staff [ although nearly all foriegn speaking ] done their best to help you with whatever you needed.... more

We stayed at the Mayfair for a short trip to Jersey. Our room was clean and tidy but the television was small with no movie channels. The lift was out of order so getting to the room took some time. The restaurant food was poor but hot.One important point is soundproofing of the rooms. On one night we could not sleep due to music... more

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in jersey, and stayed at the Mayfair hotel, all we can say about this hotel is it is one of the best we have stayed in for a long while, the service was excellent, The meals were again excellent, and you have a five course meal in the evenings, the starters had... more

I have just returned from a great holiday in Jersey and would like to thank all the staff for their warm welcome and for being so efficient. The food was always very good and the staff were efficient and friendly. As a single person I thought the dining room was set out very well because a table for two is... more

We had planned to travel on 24th August and had preliminarily booked a 4* hotel in St Helier. An offer was brought to our attention by a travel agent, which appeared to be £400 cheaper and hd additional services (such as a childcare facility). We cancelled our previous booking after checking with the hotel that the childcare provision would indeed... more

Rooms were clean and well presented. Lobby and visitor areas light and airy. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Car park tight but manageable. Bar area welcoming. Convenient location in St Helier, close to shops and harbour. Spoilt by take it or leave attitude of head waiter, was unhelpful and very abrupt. Had one evening meal, food was basic and waiting... more

We went for a three night stay booked through the internet. We have been to Jersey before and stayed at the Pomme d Or and The Merton. Personally I liked this one more than the Merton as it was slightly less "family hotel" and the ubiquitious shabby green carpet used in all Jersey hotels only started once upstairs. We had... more
