A very good hotel, seems 4+ stars where it has been refurbished. been 3 times going again in a few days. Service very good, entertainment at night for all ages. Meals quite varied with multiple choice. Rooms cleaned with fresh towels 2-3 times/week. Indoor pool with jacuzi & steam room - free towels and use of gym to residents -... more
June 2008 -Took a last minute break to Jersey through the Jersey Tourist Board agent link with Premier Holidays who gave excellent service. We selected The Mayfair Hotel at St. Helier and couldn't fault it. Were upgraded to a suite (9) and the facilties and beautiful indoor swimming pool were immaculate. The Hotel does cater for coach parties - hence... more
Booked a weeks stay at the mayfair after reading the reviews on trip advisor. What a good choice this was. Good position for a stroll into town. The hotel was well furnished, The room we were allocated (a twin) was clean with a new bathroom. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient during our stay. Breakfast was good with... more
We have just returned from 6 days in the Mayfair Hotel in St Helier. The hotel is quite centrally located within walking distance of the centre of St Helier. The hotel is rated as a 3 star, rooms are basic but comfortable and clean, food was disappointing with very limited choice due to set menus but was priced accordingly. We... more
Just got back from a most enjoyable week staying at the Mayfair Hotel St. Helier. If you are looking for a restful & relaxing break then I certainly recommend Jersey. For us Its only a 50 minute flight from Manchester and the weather was like being in the Med. The room given to us on arrival was a family room... more

Breakfast was plentiful with good service, we didn't use the swimming pool and spa facilities which was due to lack of time. There is amble car parking spaces.... more
I love going to Jersey and this was my first visit to the Mayfair Hotel and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is a very short distance away from the shops and also close to the beautiful Howard Davis Park. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room I was in was very comfortable and clean. The pool... more
After a disasterous 3 days at Les Charrieres we spent 4 nights here and I can only agree with the other guests who say how good the service was and we had a refurbished room and the central heating was fine in our room. Cannot understand the comment about electric fires! Nice pool and jacuzzi. Some of the coach tour... more
Nice hotel on the whole. Found it very clean and comfortable. Bedroom and bathroom seemed newly decorated. Plus points were the pool, free internet access and quiet location. On the downside, the small electric heater did not keep the room warm enough for December. Reception staff served their purpose but not overly friendly. Breakfast average; little choice. Wouldn't have eaten... more
