Didnt expect much from a 2 star hotel but was pleasently suprised with the friendlieness and helpfullness of the staff. Rooms comfortable and warm, breakfast very English and very good. Prompt table service and plenty of smiles. Evening bar reasonably priced with a welcoming barmaid who remembers your drinks. Well done more

Stayed at the Stafford Hotel for a week between the 23rd August 2009 and 30th August 2009. We stayed bed, breakfast and dinner, and had two rooms, both twins. ROOMS Quite spacious considering the price, although not the largest ones i have stayed in. Both had tea and coffee making facilities, TVs and a very large bathroom with bath and... more

The hotel was very well positioned for town centre, waterfront etc.The room was cleaned well every day and we have nothing but praise for the hotel staff. Breakfast was very nice and we were served promptly on sitting down with tea and toast then helped ourself to the buffet breakfast. The only downside to the hotel at all was the... more

We have just returned from our stay in the Stafford Hotel The food was plentiful and very good especially the breakfasts and the service also very good. The staff were helpful and there was a friendly atmosphere. The bedroom was comfortable with plenty of storage space. The only drawback was the very dated bathroom- it was small and dark but... more

Just returned from the Stafford: Great central location, on the flat, with the sea front at the end of the street. Bus station only minutes away. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfasts were excellent - buffet service. If you have a room at the front you will experience a fair amount of traffic noise early in the morning, also some... more

We have just spent a week at the Stafford Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Our room was outdated and basic but it was clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. Fluffy white towels and plenty of hot water at any time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Now for the food. Being a 2 star Hotel we... more

Just cannot say enough about how wonderful our time at the Stafford was! Everything was marvellous, from the food, to the Cleaning service - just brilliant! Staff were wonderful, helpful friendly and efficient. Very reasonably priced, nice clean room with good en-suite and plenty of storage space. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - would recommend for all ages, anytime! more

What you pay for you get. Basic hotel but comfortable and clean. Very nice evening meal. Bedrooms are small and very dated but clean and cleaned every day with attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. Jersey is looking very tired and in need of face lift. Worth doing island tour to see changing coastline. All in all a pleasant... more

The Stafford is well located in St Heliers but be aware that there is little else going for it. The bedrooms are small, the beds are average, the breakfast in the morning is only OK and they ran out of hot water for showers at night. If you want to experience Jersey, get out of St Heliers and go somewhere... more
