We stayed at The Savoy for two nights - 4th & 5th July 2009. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the town centre and is quite nice and peaceful. The bedroom was OK, but needs air conditioning - I asked if we could have a fan and one was placed in the room immediately. There was a burn... more

My mother and I stayed here for three nights in May. On the upside, it is a very clean and quiet hotel. I felt safe there as the police department is just across the street. Free internet access was a big plus. On the downside, the room was drab. The water pressure in the shower was a joke; there was... more

The staff here are friendly, the location is very good and it is clean and tidy. The breakfasts are great but did not have dinner so can not comment. There were however 3 problems, we stayed for 4 nights in room 29 and first issue was the shower, the pressure was abysmal and it is the least powerful shower we... more

We went here due to the overwhelming recommendations. It was exceptionally quiet and therefore the advertised Friday Jazz night was cancelled without informing guests. There is a P.C. with internet access in guests lounge but table too low giving back ache. Room 53 has very nastily stained carpet in front of dressing table. Bedcovers look fab but mega heavy. restaurant... more

Friendly service and excellent food. The public areas of the hotel have been updated and are very 'smart' however the bedrooms could do with brightening up.Car parking is good and hotel very easy to find. more

Good quality hotel. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room comfortable.Ate once in the hotel, food not bad but not keen on fripperies of fine dining - personal thing. Bar expensive but all right for the odd drink - big TV screen. Location excellent - 10 mins walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. Car park quite large and convenient..Recommended. more

Me and my fiance have just returned home from a 4 day break in Jersey. Having done some research into various hotels in Jersey, we decided to try the Savoy and were so pleased that we did because it was fabulous. As we had never been to jersey before, rather than mess around trying to find the right bus, we... more

Our booking was made directly with the Savoy Hotel, after finding the Hotel through the internet. Our booking was taken care of by Nelson at the Reception in an efficient manner. As a party of 5 ladies, we each had double rooms for single occupancy and all the rooms were of a high standard. Our only comment would be that... more
