I visited Mountview the last weekend in September and even though I had read reviews saying that it was a good little find, they still managed to exceed my expectations. With regards to location in St Helier I was expecting this hotel to be outside of town up a steep hill. This was not the case at all! The Hotel... More

As the title says, parking was a nightmare with only 5 spaces available. St. Helier itself is a parking nightmare and if you didn't manage a space at Mountview then it was a case of find a space in town (no easy task) and pay for it . Parking is free from 5pm till 8am so a couple of hours... More

Stayed with a friend for 2 nights back in May, we were lucky that the weather was really good for that time of year too. Reasonably priced, good breakfast. Staff friendly. Its in a good location too, perfect for a weekend escape! Recommended. I would stay again without hesitation!

My mum and myself stayed here for 4 nights as a little break. It was extremely reasonable so we didn't know what to expect. We were given a very warm welcome. Our room was number 5 and was beyond our expectation. It was massive, it had lovely furnishings which all looked new and modern. It was very clean including the... More

We booked this hotel 10 months ago via internet - what a great find. A little bit out of St Helier and up hill back. However, the good far outweighs this. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The cooked breakfast is amazing if a little too much, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, coffee and tea all... More

Stayed at Mountview for 3 nights and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left had the friendliest reception and most helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble for. Clean and central and the breakfast really sets you up for the day and would definately recommend this to anyone.

A nice hotel not far from the town centre. We booked a double ensuite room which was spacious and comfortable. The hotel as a whole was a bit tired and dated in terms of decor, but was clean and the staff friendly. We had bikes with us and were able to store them securely which is always a bonus. My... More

I stayed at the Mountview Hotel in Jersey for 3 nights, in a twin room. It is a small, family run hotel with lifts provided. The front of the hotel is painted blue. Some rooms have balconies which you can pay extra for. The hotel is located on a sloping road; only a short walk into town. It only takes... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and would definitely recommend to anyone on a budget. I suggest you should request a balcony room but nevertheless it is still value for money one of the other rooms. We had a back room which faced a small patio but it was spacious so can't complain. Staff were very nice and when I requested... More
