I'm sure if you wanted you could pick holes in this hotel. But it is a two star hotel and for a two star hotel it is excellent. It was clean and the food was very good. Mary, the lady who apparently runs it, was everywhere. I don't know what they pay her but it's probably not enough. The staff... More

Clean rooms all amenities if a little dated but you get what you pay for, located within walking distance to shops. Breakfast was good Although would have liked a breakfast menu either in room or on tables. Staff all pleasant and helpful dinner was good but again so many nice places to eat we only the here one evening. Walls... More

Just back from a coach holiday staying at Runnymede court hotel. Mary and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to them all. The hotel is very clean and the food was excellent. I first visited Jersey in the mid 70's and walking into this place is like time travel, you could very well be back in the 70's! I'm not knocking it for that what with identikit chain hotels everywhere you go it just means you have to reset your expectation meter. Check in was a lot less formal than normal with Mary... More

The Runnymede Court Hotel is a bit old fashioned, which isn't that bad, it suits the house. But the down side is that you can here EVERYTHING. Two nights the guests having the room above us walked around all night (not joking), and it sounds as if they walk around in your room. Although I could here someone else in... More

Stayed for a week at this delightful establishment. Mary was a whirling dervish, and mega multi tasker, the restaurant was expertly run,and ,i must say,i have never seen such efficient waitresses, who complemented the excellent food, and,i must say should make the hotel worthy of a higher star rating. We had one issue, which was speedily dealt with by way of a different room, again expertly... More

We stayed in the Runnymede 2014 and enjoyed our stay there. We couldn't get the Runnymede this time as it was fully booked. Mary the girl that runs it is a very friendly lady. The staff are also friendly and all made us Welcome. I would recommend this hotel. It was only a 10 min walk to the town,, plus... More

The 2 star rating for the hotel is about right. Nothing special but the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are all great. We only had one evening meal there and you get what you pay for - £12 for three courses so don't expect too much. There are some good restaurants close by in particular a Portuguese restaurant...
