This hotel has a very welcoming feel if you don't mind the "old Fashioned". We were only staying for a weekend and would have been more then happy to stay longer. Mary and staff were a delight, our room was basic with a street view, but wasn't planning on staying in our room other then sleeping. Bathroom been renovated with... More

Food was brilliant ( both quality and portions) staff were helpful, free maps, good location ( short walk to the beach), tidy and clean rooms, of a good size. Had an old people's home feel to it. Which wasn't a problem, but can see why some people wouldn't be fond of it. overall though, 100% will visit again!

Stayed here for 4 nights and we were made very welcome by Mary (hotel manager). The location was good with easy walks to sea front (Havre de pas) and town. Our room was basic but clean and tidy, they do have better rooms as we looked into some of them, however we didn't pay much for ours so I suppose we... More

We have just returned from a short break staying at the Runnymede Court Hotel, St Helier Jersey, it was an Excellent Hotel and it was of very high standard, the rooms were spotless, the food was absolutely delicious, there was varied menu each night for our evening meal of which always consisted meat, fish and fresh vegetables. Mary the manageress... More

From the moment Mary greeted us on arrival and insisted she carry our cases to our room, to when we left, she couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was ample and Ola served made sure we had everything we wanted. You could see into the kitchen which was very clean. The location was great... More

Went for a 5 day break to Jersey with my sister and we should have been staying somewhere else, but due to a mix up, we ended up at the Runnymede. What a great mistake because it was lovely...... This was a 2 star hotel, but deserves a higher rating - the rooms, staff and food were excellent, especially the... More

Just returned from a week in Jersey. It was our first visit to the island and booked only a few weeks ago. The Travel Agent suggested the Runnymede as had previous clients staying there and had enjoyed their stay. I had checked out reviews and was a bit apprehensive but need not have been. We were given a warm welcome... More

Stayed here for a week and must pay compliments to the efficient running of the establishment. We were in a garden room which was like a small chalet and quiet at night. All round it was good value for money. Meals were quickly served and were like home-cooked food (not out of packets). Under Mary's leadership all staff were courteous... More

Just back from staying for a week here. Although rated a 2 star hotel I would give it a 3 star. Rooms were clean, towels changed everyday. There were tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. Breakfasts were very nice comprising of tea, coffee, juice, cereal and cooked fry up of your choice. Staff we're very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in good... More

I stayed here for 5 nights and found the staff really friendly and helpful.I had my own table each day and enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast although I would have enjoyed fruit or yoghurt as an option. The hotel was clean and the bedrooms cosy.It only lacked air conditioning as I stayed when the weather was at its hottest. Its central for...
