Travelled early June and had 7 days warm / hot sunny weather (a real bonus). The Hotel was 5 mins outside S Helier, right on the beach. lots of free parking and all amenities on your doorstep. The rooms were very clean, looked out onto the large gardens and outdoor pool, plus free use of the indoor pool and leisure... more

My Wife and I chose the Samares Coast Hotel after perusing a hotel brochure for Jersey. It was very important that we made the right decision since our very long standing Danish friends were also coming with us. Since he was the managing director of a large company in Denmark, I was very pleased that he enjoyed the comfort, great... more

This was our first family holiday and Jersey didn't disappoint with everything being so accessible. The hotel was spotless and gardens immaculate and we made the most of these whilst eating lunch in the sunshine. Leisure facilities were very good although the pool was quite deep and had no shallow end. We loved the dinner menu which changed every evening... more

As Manager, I remember these clients well, but was unaware of a number of the points they now raise as being problems for them. We accommodate many families with young children successfully and meet their needs well. It is usual within an hotel of this type for breakfast to start at 8.00 am and many parents do keep some supplies...

Staff were very friendly. Rooms are very tired and dated though and overall not worth the £95 a night. more

We are pleased that you found our hotel to be friendly. In respect of the price of the accommodation, the perception of value is a subjective area. Many customers believe that we offer good value. We are a full service three star hotel on a large prime seafront site with relatively extensive well tended award winning gardens, indoor pool and...

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel ever since we started coming to Jersey in 2000. We rate the following points very highly: CLEANLINESS The hotel rooms and public areas (including the leisure centre) are always spotlessly clean. The room is made up for you every morning by friendly staff who obviously want to make the room as... more

I have no hesitation on recommending this hotel. Good food, not too much nor too little and adequate choice. Right on the sea front with splendid views from the restaurant. We had a Balcony room which was an added bonus; although this was right at the front and above the main road there was no obtrusive traffic noise day or... more

We have just come back from a 5 night B&B break at the Samares Coast. Its a nice hotel with a pleasant indoor pool and gardens. Service is good and friendly. It is located right by the beach and a handy M&S food store is nearby, however, St Clements is quiet and you really need a car to get around... more

Just have returned from a three night stay at the Samares Coast hotel. The hotel is well kept and well run, with very friendly staff. On arrival at check in, the receptionist gave our 2 young children a teddy each with jersey embroidered on the front. they were absolutely delighted, and this made you feel that children were very welcome... more

GOOD POINTS Convenient location for St. Helier - only about 5 mins by car. Nice gardens Courteous and pleasant staff Good indoor pool - although on some days does feel rather cold M&S Food store 5 mins walk away for provisions Pleasant evening walks to Green Island BAD POINTS We stayed in a ground floor apartment. Within minutes of arriving... more

We are always grateful for comments and are pleased to respond. I believe that the difference here to other reviewers’ comments on our hotel apartments is the fact that this particular apartment did not have the noise suppressing acoustic quilting and additional false ceiling that is fitted to other units within this block of eight apartments. As a result, we...

My husband and I stayed at the Samares Coast in one of the Self Catering apartments with our one year old baby. The size of the apartment was good, & the bathroom had obviously been recently refubished. I have to agree that the location was not great, but on the plus side it was a very quiet area at night... more
