We have just come back from a 5 night B&B break at the Samares Coast. Its a nice hotel with a pleasant indoor pool and gardens. Service is good and friendly. It is located right by the beach and a handy M&S food store is nearby, however, St Clements is quiet and you really need a car to get around... more

Just have returned from a three night stay at the Samares Coast hotel. The hotel is well kept and well run, with very friendly staff. On arrival at check in, the receptionist gave our 2 young children a teddy each with jersey embroidered on the front. they were absolutely delighted, and this made you feel that children were very welcome... more

My husband and I stayed at the Samares Coast in one of the Self Catering apartments with our one year old baby. The size of the apartment was good, & the bathroom had obviously been recently refubished. I have to agree that the location was not great, but on the plus side it was a very quiet area at night... more

Found this hotel by surfing around, seemed to look good on their site and the reviews on tripadvisor were OK. The special rates on their website are pretty good. The first thing to consider for this hotel is that it isn't in the best area of Jersey, but that is only in the context of Jersey itself as I don't... more

Thank you for your positive review of our hotel. In respect of the seafront balcony arrangements, we do have privacy screens to each balcony but due to the seafront location these cannot extend over the whole balcony for structural reasons as the balcony is deep and this would create a safety issue in case of high sea winds. However, in...

Have stayed at the Samares twice now within the last six months, both times have felt it very good value. First time, last September 2007 we enjoyed a garden view room, this time thought we would pamper ourselves and book a sea view room with a balcony. However, a warning: all four of the sea view rooms have obscured views... more

Thank you for returning to the hotel and I note that you would return to us in the future again which is appreciated. We have very many repeat guests at the Samares Coast and we do take great pride in our hotel’s maintenance. It is unfortunate that I was not made aware of your feelings during your stay in respect...

We have been going to Jersey for quite some time now and have always tried to stay in a Morvan Family Hotel. We first checked this one out back in 2005 and have stayed there ever since. We had taken a walk along the coast to St Clements and decided to take a look at one of the balcony rooms... more

We have just returned from our first Family Holiday in Jersey. Samares Coast is situated approx 1.5 miles east of St Helier on the main road. It is well situated overlooking St Clements Bay. Being on the main road easy to get to. My wife, two daughters aged 7 and 10 and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All hotel... more

Well, on the good side, the staff were on the whole excellent esp those in the restaurant & reception. The room wasn`t very big and although we`d booked a room with a sea view, what wasn`t apparent from the website was that that meant it overlooked the main road heading from St Helier to the east of the island, which... more
