I visited Jersey in May this year, I really enjoyed my stay at the Miramar Hotel it was booked last minute through booking.com I was a little apprehensive at first as 1) I've never been to Jersey before and 2) I had no idea how the hotel would be apart from a few photos I saw online. Upon arrival at... More

Our return to Jersey to celebrate our “Golden Wedding” at our “honeymoon” hotel was a huge disappointment. Having stayed at this middle class hotel back in 1965, selected because it was advertised in the “Bride” magazine, we found it had been drastically changed to a “Shearings/1960’s Butlin’s” style hotel very dated and in time warp of the 1960/70’s. The owners... More

I can't understand why some people are so negative about this hotel. This is our third time at the hotel and we will come every year,no doubt about that, we even booked next years stay before we left.. You are always made very welcome by all the staff. The waiters and waitresses are just so friendly and hard working, nothing is... More

This is our 3rd stay at the Miramar and we were not disappointed. This is a very friendly hotel, spotlessly clean, fantastic outdoor facilities which I make full use of. Some hotels give you a huge list of do's and dont's which I find very unwelcolming. Not so the Miramar. It is a very relaxing experience and we hope to... More

I visited this hotel with family members whilst attending a birthday. It's situated near the top of a steep green lane, which takes you to either the bus stop or the beach below at St Brelades, depending on whether you go up or down. The atmosphere is very homey as it's not the most spacious of places, but it has... More

I can only surmise that the training of staff was carried out to make this hotel resemble Faulty Towers, there is the receptionist who looks Spanish and appears to run around everywhere seeing guests in, breakfast server and probably cooks, does you sandwiches, serves behind the bar, does the laundry. But then you have the opposite an American lady doing... More

Myself, my husband and our 6 month old baby stayed here for 7 nights and although the weather was terrible (storms nearly every day) we were very happy with our choice of hotel. The hotel is 2 star but the service is impeccable. The breakfast offered a very good selection and was waiter service was lovely. We had a table... More

My mum, sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at this hotel for five nights combining my brother-in-law’s botanical visit with a family holiday. We would certainly like to return - the hotel was lovely and is in an ideal location for discovering the beautiful island of Jersey. The rooms I saw were extremely clean, seemed to have been recently decorated with... More
