This hotel was a great surprise, room was great and outside balcony overlooking pool was a huge bonus.Hotel is a bit dated but spotless and the service in the dining room was first class. It is a great place to stay for a really peaceful holiday. One point against is the climb back up the lane from the bay but St Brelades Bay... A little outdated, but very clean, staff very helpful and friendly. We had an upgrade to half board and found the food very acceptable and well prepared. Good choice as well. Service spot on. Wifi available in parts of the hotel at no charge. Mainly in the public areas, but spasmodic in the bedrooms. Swimming pool clean as was the... More

For an almost last minute booking that accepted dogs I am happy that we found it..as beggars can't be choosers. The staff were perfectly polite & the hotel was very clean, tidy & well maintained but the bed & bedding were poor (my partner couldn't bear the smell of the pillows).. so for the price it wasn't a great deal.... I have stayed in this hotel with friends 3 times now and find it a great place to stay, Clean, friendly with very helpful staff, a great position with sea views, garden balcony and pool. My one issue is with the thinness of the walls and ceilings. On the last visit two of us were kept awake by people snoring... More

Hotel was located above the bay. Ten minutes down a steep lane to the beach but a bit longer coming up. Service was excellent. Alison on front desk was very helpful. Waiting staff at breakfast were excellent. Efficient, polite and really friendly. Breakfast was totally waiter/waitress service, no buffet table at all. Unusual but stops wastage and greed! There was... More

This hotel is in a lovely location not far from St Brelades Bay - 10 minute walk at most down a sloped lane. Convenient for bus routes and has great car parking facilities. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Yes, the rooms are a little dated in decor but.. who cares? The facilities are great and the service received by all... More

We have just returned from a relaxing break with two little ones. Alison went over her job role and made my bedtime routine for the youngest a breeze. Another receptionist also was exceptional and interacted well with my boys asking them about their day etc. The pool was brilliant plenty of sun loungers and the room service was exceptional. Breakfast... More

This is a smug island full of either shy taxpayers or geriatrics. The hotel is in a time warp from the 1970's. The rooms are straight out of the set from Fawlty Towers as is the service. One awaits Manuel to serve breakfast but that would be an insult to Manuel. The breakfast served is simply awful. The orange juice... More

The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and other facilities. Yes, it is on a hill but it is a short walk down to the beach and we pushed a buggy up it with ease. The rooms are spotless and fairly spacious. The sunny conservatory, enclosed garden, heated pool and bar/games room are all family friendly.... More

When I book a Hotel where dogs are accepted I expect hotel where I and the dog are welcome. What we got was a room strongly smelling of disinfectant, with view to a wall 3meters away, next to the very noisy kitchen-ventilator (the worst room of the house for the dog?!). The dog and so us, were not allowed in... More
