Stayed overnight for family bereavement. On arrival we were welcomed warmly and shown our rooms early to allow us to freshen up after early morning flight. Staff were extremely kind and cooked us a lovely breakfast despite there being no one staying in the hotel at this time. We returned in the evening and ate in the bar/bistro. The fish... More

Arrived on horrible day needing midday snack and drink, kitchens had just closed and place deserted we went to leave but were ushered to newly set evening table and told "no problem what would you like?" We had a wonderful tasty dish of Tiger prawns with noodles and dip it was just delicious the service and food was as always... More

We have celebrated two family occasions at the Old Court House this week, and we could not have enjoyed better food or service. Thank you so much to Kirsty and the whole team, including those in the kitchen, you are all wonderful... Cannot wait for our next visit.

Just back in London from a weekend stay and were looked after like old friends. Desperate to return for fabulous cuisine and great company. Thank you to Kirsty and the team who made us feel so welcome and at home. We had 48 hours on the island that felt like a weeks rest due to really comfortable uninterrupted sleep, hospitable... More

Yet again this quirky hotel doesnt disappoint. Greeted like an old friend by Ana and by all the other girls during my weekend makes this the friendliest hotel I've ever stayed in and why I come multiple times a year. Nothing is too much bother for Kirsty she's a star. The hotel is in a great location, rooms all different... More

The climax of my special weekend was dinner for seven, including 3 boisterous boys on Saturday Evening. It is for readers to discover which "special" room we had booked, but for those of our party visiting the Old Courthouse for the first time the "WOW" factor ensured a good time was had by all. The Service was impeccable, the range... More

I have eaten here many years ago and it was a pleasure to return to eat excellent food and great service. The quality and quantity is good and comfortable surroundings. Good choice on the menu but don't expect a cheap meal. £25 for a 2010 Bordeaux with "Rothchilds" on the label was a treat.

We walked to The Old Court House Inn from our hotel in St Helier. This was around 3 miles along the beach. We were made to feel very welcome and were served a very tasty meal We both had the pork medallions with pepper sauce which, although perhaps a little small in quantity, were a welcome lunch after our exercises.

We stopped for something to eat on the last day of our holiday. It was about 7p.m, we hadn't booked, and were dressed for the beach. We entered after a hen night group who were enjoying themselves. The barman told us to take a table, and order our drinks. He attended to us promptly, and without fuss, supplied us with... More

Had a super lunch after our walk from St Brelades. A fishermans basket was really tasty. Cheery friendly staff. Lovely view over the bay. Quieter location off the main coast road. The sweets looked delicious too.
