This room is clearly an attempt to satisfy the ADA and was hastily constructed. It has no air control in the room, not even a fan. The room was dirty - dirty wash cloth on top of shower curtain rod; dead roach behind the commode, the mattress was stain and linens not on bed properly. Only room to hang a... More

If you could rate this under 1 star, I would. It was the worst hotel I have ever seen. The outside is run down (I know, it's supposed to be historical). There is a difference between historical and run down. They need to spend some money updating, cleaning up, and just generally making it a nice place. Carpeting looks as... More

We apologize you were disappointed in your recent stay. We are a historical facility , and all of our rooms are on a maintenance schedule. We update on a regular basis. We are not a chain, and as one sees in our multiple positive reviews, many people appreciate the overall experience of what we offer. However, thank you for the... More

What an amazing old Hotel in a quiet historic town! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in a fabulously large room with a jacuzzi tub for less than $100 a night. The Commodore Hotel is a great place for a romantic get-away.

We stayed two nights at the Commodore Hotel in middle Tennessee during the last week of September. The weather was beautiful for hiking and there were many trails in the area ranging from very easy to difficult. The Natchez Trace Parkway is just a short drive away. The Commodore is a restored, old style hotel with a restaurant on the... More

We booked here for one night to go to the classic car cruise-in in Linden. We ended up staying 2 nights as we were made to feel so welcome. The owners make a personal effort to get to know you and the towns people are also very hospitable. We would highly recommend this pretty little town for an authentic american... More

If you ride a motorcycle, I recommend you stay at the Commodore Hotel and visit the Linden area. US 13 south of Linden is a good road and very winding, but unlike the “Dragon’s Tail”, there is little traffic or crazies coming at you in the wrong lane. Local residents are friendly and helpful, and the scenery is beautiful. I... More

We were travelling through to visit family and decided to stay here. It is a nice hotel. It has recently been remodeled. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The cafe attached has a really good breakfast. Nice hotel in a nice little town.

This is a wonderful place with a great staff. I had the pleasure of staying here with my family while on a business trip and enjoyed it very much. While there are very limited choices in this area to stay I was quite suprised by this place. The customer service was great. The rooms remind me of a Bed and... More

I was at the Commodore Hotel restaurant the other night and was surprised by the talent I heard . There was a young singer/songwriter by the name of Austin Adams playing. I think he said he was from Nashville. What a voice, this guy is going to be a star! His playing and songs were great! I hope he's there... More
