Hotel Beachcombers is not exactly the best hotel if you want to have a nice and quiet stay. The doors in the hallways slam all the time when other doors are opened and the rooms are quite noisy. We stayed for two nights and made the most of the lovely pool, the peace and quiet, and the good food. Good value and a nice atmosphere. It's very well located for Gorey, Durrell (the zoo) and Samares Manor but we weren't overly impressed with the east coast and would probably stay in St Brelades/ St Aubin area next time.... more

We understand the hotel has undergone refurbishment recently and this is certainly reflected in the decor of the bedrooms and public rooms - very nice and comfortable. This hotel is very run down and need of urgent refurbishement. The staff are very friendly which makes it difficult to really down this hotel. This hotel is great, deserves far more than a 2 star rating, the food is first class, the staff very friendly and helpful, lovely pool area and games room for the kids. The location is beautiful - but quiet. We would definitely stay there again. more
