We loved this place. It was a bus ride out of town, but this was in its favour. Quiet and away from bustling crowds. The staff were lovely both at breakfast and in the bar. Andrew the barman was very friendly and interesting, and we even met his parents. Some of the patrons were regulars over many years and a... More

I stay in Jersey a lot for business and have always struggled to find a reasonably priced hotel which does not penalise you for travelling solo. Apart from the 4 and 5 star ones which I can only afford at very low season, I have experienced tiny box rooms with single beds and blankets, or cold, unrefurbished back of beyond... More

Thanks for writing your complimentary review but I am sorry to learn that the location of your bedroom became such an issue! When you checked in we had no idea you had so much luggage/samples and you did not tell us. It was not until after dinner that I noticed you were making multiple trips past Reception with bags and... Just returned from 5 nights at The Old Court House. The hotel is very well run and in a lovely setting - a 10 minute walk from Gorey. We stayed bed, breakfast & evening meal, the food is really good and plentiful. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and a good time was had by all! The rooms... More

One measure of an excellent hotel is the number of guests who return year after year. The Old Court House Hotel at Gorey can probably claim some kind of record for the Channel Islands in that respect. We first checked in over 25 years ago and have been staying at least once a year ever since, yet are still relative... More

3 star hotel. Wonderful staff. Made us feel at home immediately. Rooms are 3 star, tired and in need of updating but are spotlessly clean. A perfect base. The rest of the hotel is better than 3 star from the restaurant & bar to the swimming pool. Food is very good with generous portions both at breakfast and dinner. Whole... More
