The brother's wedding - having had a rather disappointing experience recently in another country house hotel, I was a little apprehensive about this to say the least! However I'm delighted to report that Tinakilly was superb in every way. There's so much that can go wrong at a wedding that can spoil the day, so it was their attention to... More

The house is lovely, the grounds beautiful, the restaurant is a bit uneven but good. Understanding this is not a Ritz or 4Seasons; the house cleaning needs to be a bit more ardent as some areas ,while not unclean, were in need of additional attention. The house is representative of the lifestyle of the country gentleman in the not to... More

Worth a visit for the grounds and scenery alone! If you are lucky enough to catch one of the sunny days of summer then you'll never want to leave. Lovely food and friendly service. A car is a must both for the really long drive way and for a jaunt up into the Wicklow mountains. Will be returning for sure.... More

Had a fabulous meal here recently, couldn't fault the food or the service but the wine list was awful and very overpriced, anything we picked wasn't available and there didn't seem to be any suitable alternatives. Staff are so so nice and we had an incredible evening in the most beautiful of places.

I am amazed about some of the reviews I have just read where people are raving about this place. I wonder if we were at the same location!! The long driveway leading up to the hotel was in bad need of repair. At the entrance we struggled to bring our luggage into the hotel as the driveway is not paved... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and gardens are so pretty from outside and there is a lot to catch the eye, inside and out. It felt a bit like we were on the set of Poirot or Miss Marple. Our room was very charming and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and used the finest quality ingredients. Fish... More

Stayed in Tinakilly House for a family wedding and from the very entrance, to the grounds of the hotel I was taken in. It is a beautiful old country house and decorated tastefully inside. The grounds and views are spectacular! The staff also were extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was perfect for a wedding and I was extremely jealous... More

We got married here a few weeks ago and were thrilled with every aspect of our stay. We had many guests travelling from overseas and hosted welcome drinks on the Friday, wedding on saturday and BBQ on sunday. Over the entire stay we were made to feel as though the house was our own, the staff helped us to capture... More

There is nothing wrong with this hotel - I was just disappointed by the bog standard hotel room - albeit it did have a 4 poster - I presumed I was in the main house and was expecting spectacular - like Waterford Castle - but no - rooms are holiday inn with a 4 poster. There are other places that... More

Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday in the same week we decided to have a joint celebration on the night of the 8th of August and booked a table for two in Tinakilly House. We have eaten in Tinakilly House many times over the years and regard it as somewhere we go for a very special occasion,... More
