Had a memorable and beautiful stay at this splendid, clean and non-pretentious establishment. Our free bag of crisps after our first cuppa of the day made us feel that this was not a rip-off, even though we didn't pay much for a top notch deluxe 4 poster bed and very large room. The Argentinan red wine was far too easy... More

Stayed here recently as a birthday treat. Rooms were lovely and spacious and had fabulous views of the Irish Sea. We could not fault the cleanliness of the rooms. But unfortunately that's where the positives end. Service was very poor - badly trained and inexperienced staff running around but not very effective. The food was awful - overcooked, poor quality... Went back to Tinakilly House after a break of many years. When we arrived we discovered it has been taken over by new management. What a difference we were made very welcome from the start. The staff are so friendly. The bedroom was spacious and luxurious. The food was first class and our waiter for the weekend was a super... More

Went there with a group of 7 people and were very amazed by the very beautiful and affectionately refurbished Victorian building.. Every step you take throughout the ample landhouse and its lovely arranged garden lets you feel the spirit of the bygone glamorous days of this property. We were happy to get to know the quite passionate and lovely landlord... More

Another reviewer described this place as Fawlty Towers and we also thought this when we were there. But in a quirky way. Our room was beautiful, A captain Suite overlooking the garden. Large sitting area, old fashioned. But that's all in the charm of Tinakilly. Bar food the first night was A duo of burgers and a few drinks. Not... More

My partner and I stayed here on 22nd March - overall we had a very mixed experience. It's a beautiful hotel with real old world charm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival, and our room was gorgeous and spacious with a sea view. The hotel had a wedding on that day and it seems like our room... More

A perfect place to chill out and enjoy excellent food, drinks and a relaxed friendly ambiance! The gardens are looking beautiful on this early spring day - afternoon tea on the lawn is next on the list!
