What a wonderful stay…elegant, quiet, beautiful! Our room was absolutely spectacular and well appointed, except for the print of the poker playing dogs over the bathtub that actually gave us a great chuckle! Food was excellent and the service is impeccable. Walk the grounds. Stroll the cemetery across the street. Drive to town. Definitely a memorable stay!

Very comfortable old world hotel with fantastic service. Dining is good but pricey. The service from the hotel staff is exceptional and will make you remember the stay ! Room fittings are somewhat dated but the rooms are ver comfortable.

I had heard mixed reviews of Tinakilly but under its new management there are great improvements. Husband and I had a really nice 24 hour break - very good value for dinner bed and breakfast - dinner was absolutely delicious - staff all very friendly and accommodating. I was a little disappointed with the room I got (junior suite no.... More

Me and my family recently attended a family wedding in Tinakilly. The Hotel is in stunning grounds with views to the Irish Sea and countryside. Our room was spacious, spotless with stunning views. The meals we had at the hotel were excellent. The staff were very efficient and friendly with the children at the wedding being made very welcome. I... More

I recently attended a family wedding in Tinakilly. The venue is stunning overlooking the forest and sea. After you drive up the drive, you arrive to the old house which is WOW and especially at this time of year with the Autumn colours on the leaves. Check-in was quick and easy on arrival even with all the wedding party arriving... More

We arrived at Tinakilly after a long drive from Cashel via stops at Powers Court and Glendalough! It was exciting to travel up the long drive hoping for the best! Serendipity! We have come to rely on the recommendations of Karen Brown and she was right again! This elegant country house brought us back to a time of gracious living... More

Nice location adjacent to the Wicklow Mountains. Clean, spacious, well appointed rooms and nice hotel grounds. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the full Irish breakfast we were served was excellent.

Spent a Saturday night here in august and what a wonderful experience it was. All staff - reception, bar, restaurant could not have been nicer or more helpful. The room was in keeping with the rest of the building. We were on the top floor. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Grounds beautiful. Most relaxed I felt in a long long... More

Beautiful setting, and a great staff, friendly and welcoming. We loved everything about this hotel, room, bath and furnishings were wonderful. Breakfast was made to order. We found the restaurant food to be an exceptional value. Hotel has a warm, friendly atmosphere, from the fireplace in the entry, to the bar where afternoon tea is offered, to the lovely room.... Visited Tinakilly on a day-trip to Wicklow for some refreshments/lunch in nice surroundings. The tea-rooms are quaint and lovely. Staff were very friendly but service was a mixed bag. I ordered chowder and a drink and my mother ordered tea and a scone. Bread was supposed to come with the chowder but didn't and when I reminded staff about it,... More
