The hotel was very comfortable, great get away after weeks work. Really nice surroundings and off the beaten track. The staff were really nice and the bar beside the Italian restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The spa was really relaxing and the back massage was excellent. Great facilities with outside pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The Strawberry tree restaurant was the... More

We stayed for only one night but I'm sure we will be back. The hotel was busy as there was also a wedding that night but it didn't feel busy, there is lots of space and the staff are very relaxed and professional. The spa is great as is the outdoor jacuzzi. We ate in the strawberry tree restaurant which... More

Brooklodge is a hidden retreat for anyone looking to get away from the hustle of everyday life. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very well presented and in keeping with the style of the Lodge. The Spa is a real treat. The pool is at a nice temperature. The outdoor hot tub is a nice surprise.... More

My sister and I both have 3 young children so getting away is a rare treat. We stayed overnight on the summer special. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We had a bottle of prosecco with us and the cheap corkscrew got stuck in the unopened cork. One call to reception and they were up with a corkscrew. When that... More

We stayed here for 1 night to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary. We had originally booked into another hotel but it was just so dreadful we left early. I am so glad that we did! Brooklodge is the perfect hotel in my opinion. The staff are all incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly. We booked a Mezzanine suite and it was fantastic... More

Based on recommendations I chose this location to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary. I was really looking forward to our stay both myself and my wife. When we arrived there was a bit of a wait to check in , when I got to the top of the queue the lady at the front desk who I won’t name appeared... More

The Brooklodge is, to misuse a soccer cliché, a game of two halves. On the plus side there are two fine restaurants serving excellent, if quite different, food. We ate in both and the food was wonderful; you could taste the fresh ingredients in a way that you often cannot even in good city restaurants. In addition to the usual... More
