We stayed at BrookLodge for two nights 27th-28th Feb 2015. What a lovely place. We arrived mid afternoon and the reception was very welcoming. A brief and informative conversation with the receptionist in a homely room with a turf fire and candles. Our room was pleasant and enjoyed a pleasant outlook over the lawn and pond. We ate in the... We stayed at BrookLodge from 19th to 22nd February for our sons wedding. Check in was fast, efficient and friendly. Our room had a double and a single bed and was tastefully decorated. The bathroom had a great shower and the toiletries were excellent. A fluffy white bathrobe was provided for us both together with slippers. The service and attention... More

We had a pleasant overnight stay at Brooklodge to mark a special occasion. It is a very comfortable setting, and staff were pleasant and engaging. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was enjoyable, though a bit expensive. I was geared up for a nice slab of meat, so I was a bit disappointed that there was no beef or venison on... More

we booked BrookeLodge for a sneaky nigh away and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we found our room to be very inviting spacious and well laid out .The real treat of the evening was however the fantastic meal we had in the hotels restaurant. From start to finish the food was exceptional , with excellent service and the added... More

The hotel is very isolated but since it was a quiet trip I was looking for this suited me fine. That was until I realised that the fact there were no other nice restaurants nearby other than those on-site meant that we were sitting ducks to be ripped off. The idea of set menus at 55 or 65 Euro a... More

Sometimes the hype wins. This is the case with this all "green" hotel in a great setting. The area is fabulous, the organic local food feeds our first world guilt, the spa is fine, but the rooms and the comfort of the beds fall way short. Combine that with the haughty staff that isn't interested in the customer and you... More

Went for a weekend break in the Brooklodge and Spa. Very enjoyable. Had a beautiful meal in the Italian Restaurant. Felt the atmosphere could have been a little more cozy but the food was excellent. The Hotel Bar was very cozy and relaxing for a post dinner tipple. Breakfast was served until 12noon which was fabulous as we rarely get... More

Very nice venue, oozes relaxation. The restaurant, the Straberry Tree is excellent. Spa lovely. Very nice couches in reception and bar to lounge on. Huge fires in large fireplaces very inviting. Overall, very nice stay.

My mum and I were lucky enough to have a day off together and decided to book the wells spa in the Brook lodge for a day of much-needed bonding. We got a package deal for February that included full use of the thermal suite (jacuzzi, swimming pool, aromatherapy steam room, sauna etc), 30 min facial and 30 min back... More

We stayed here for one night last week. Overall our stay was excellent, we were in Room119 and it was lovely. We had dinner in the hotel and have to say it was superb, we had a four course meal and each course was beautiful and a added extra was the cheese room which was a delight. The only let... More
