We recently stayed at this beautiful lodge with my 2 year old daughter for a couple of nights. Erica greeted us on our arrival and was wonderful, she couldn't do enough for us and changed us to a larger room upstairs which had an amazing view overlooking the mountains. Our room was comfortable, clean and very adequate and my daughter... More

Myself and my wife spent one night in Trooperstown Wood Lodge recently, as a little treat to ourselves. We were welcomed by Erica, the manager, who is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. I would compare the quality of the rooms with any 5 star hotel. Downstairs, there are 2 living room areas, one... More

Just spent a lovely relaxing night here. Most welcoming and charming lady Erica took care of us and nothing was a problem . Could not fault a thing except the cold weather outside. Intend to visit soon again. Would highly recommend . We availed of the deal which included evening meal and breakfast. Food was first class.

We stayed here one night. Our room was lovely, great hair dryer and other amenities in room. The grounds were nicely kept. The bed was comfortable plus the breakfast was one of the most charming we had during our week in Ireland.

Apologies for being so late with this. I stayed in the annex in Trooperstown with my two pooches in August, whilst visiting friends. The annex itself was very comfortable and private, it had everything we needed. Erika was the manager of the b&b and works like a Trojan, that girl is a star and like other reviews have said, nothing... More

We booked into Trooperstown Lodge on a very busy weekend. We were met by Erika who is an excellent front of house. Warm, welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Bathroom was generously proportioned. And warm.. exactly what we needed after getting caught in the rain. Despite being a little distance... Just returned from a weekend hiking in WIcklow. I have stayed in the Heather House before, and was a little sceptical as this place is a bit further from the village of Laragh. Nonetheless the logistics of getting you about works a treat. There is a mini-bus.. sort of on call all day and they drop you up and down... More

Just back from a wonderful hiking weekend in Wicklow. We stayed a Trooperstown Lodge and loved it. Erica was delightful, she did everything possible to make our stay even more enjoyable than it was. The hospitality at the Wicklow Heather was brilliant as well, with a great shuttle service.

We had a wonderful 2nights stay here! We brought our dog with us so we were given a room away from the main house it was like a converted garage. We loved it! It was clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully. It's hard to find somewhere to stay that's proper dog friendly but this is definitely one one of them. There... More

Myself and my partner are just home from a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel, everything about it is just fantastic, the location, quirky country style retreat and big comfortable room. When we go away we normally just use the accommodation as somewhere to sleep but after sightseeing and before going out for our evening meal we had tea... More
