The best B&B we have ever stayed at. The grounds are so beautiful and when we arrived Erica immediately showed us around. The rooms are perfect and very clean. Breakfast is served at the sweet little restaurant down the street which was so good. I highly recommend this B&B.

The lady running this guesthouse deserves this review as she puts her soul into making guests feel so welcome and spoiled. Her name is Erica and all ten of us staying felt her speciality towards her work. A soft, caring lady with a service that would be suited to the most important, which she made us all feel.We all mentioned... More

We stayed here as part of a group attending a party outside of the village. The hostess is extremely pleasant and helpful, and the place is well-situated, only a mile outside Laragh and easy to find. Parking is ample, and there is a large outside grassy area and a couple of quiet sitting rooms indoors. The B&B is far enough... More

Erica made the place wonderful. It's a nice little B & B. When we arrived, she made us hot cocoa in the beautiful sitting room and made us feel totally welcome. Although breakfast was included in the price, it was served at the owner's restaurant in town, so it wasn't "on site", which was no problem. The place is slightly... More

We stayed last minute in Laragh. Basically had hiked the day and didn't want to drive any farther for the night. Their regular rooms were full but the room we were given wasn't bad. Clean bathroom and bed. Don't think our room had been used in a while, had a few spider webs on the walls. Reasonable price, wonderful breakfast... More

Myself and three friends stayed here on Sat 25th April 2015. I cannot praise it enough...excellent service hosted by the lovely Erica. She couldn't do enough for us. It was a very wet day and she dried all our gear after the hike. Coffee and tea available all day in the lovely sitting room. We then went to dinner in... More

We recently stayed at this beautiful lodge with my 2 year old daughter for a couple of nights. Erica greeted us on our arrival and was wonderful, she couldn't do enough for us and changed us to a larger room upstairs which had an amazing view overlooking the mountains. Our room was comfortable, clean and very adequate and my daughter... More

Myself and my wife spent one night in Trooperstown Wood Lodge recently, as a little treat to ourselves. We were welcomed by Erica, the manager, who is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. I would compare the quality of the rooms with any 5 star hotel. Downstairs, there are 2 living room areas, one... More
