Every year we stay in this area in different B&Bs and at long last have found one we'd love to go back to. The welcome was warm after a long journey. The rooms were large, clean, bright and really well maintained. We had 2 rooms for our family of 6 and couldn't recommend Bramble Rock highly enough. The "full Irish"... More

The place looked amazing and somehow managed to combine a very homely and cozy feel with the modern safety features you would expect such as fire doors with illuminated signs and extinguishers. We received a very friendly welcome. The owner literally couldn't do enough for us and offered to give us a lift the 600m down the road to the... More

On Breakfast at Bramble Rock in particular and Ireland I general : The traditional Irish waking feast, as many know, is also ritually available in the U.K. and Benelux region as well. For the uninitiated, full details of a Trad Irish morning's breakfast, may be seen as well in a variety of online sites huge in detail.). In this case,... More

Delightful rooms, great breakfast and excellent recommendations about where to go for dinner and where to find music at a pub near or far. This was practically the only place in Ireland where there was really hot water with lots of pressure. Perfect after a day of hiking. Ann will go to great lengths to make sure you have a... More

My husband and I had planned to stay at Bramble Rock after hiking from Roundwood to Glendelough on the Wicklow Way (Laragh is about three km away). I ended up aggravating an old injury on the hike and was in a lot of pain by the time we got to Glendelough. We were considering skipping the B&B and just taking... More

We stayed here for two nights in August and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Ann is a gracious hostess and clearly enjoys making her guests comfortable and happy. Breakfasts were lovely with food made to perfection. The room was large, modern, and comfortable. This B&B is perfectly managed and rates the five stars that I'm awarding to it.

My wife and I stayed here in early September 2013. We had a great time!! The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is great: the excellent hiking paths and mountain vistas of Glendalough are only 2 km away. The breakfast was great and Ann was a great hostess!. Outstanding across the board.

We stayed here for one night. The rooms where lovely and a good size, the breakfast was good and the owner was really helpful and welcoming. The BnB is a short walk to the Heather restaurant where we had a lovely dinner in the evening.

My friend and I recently stayed for 2 nights. We found the location (10 minute walk to Laragh) very nice, and the hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The house itself is great - large rooms, great facilities, delicious breakfasts, very clean and bright. I highly recommend Bramble Rock.

Beautiful room, amazing showers! A lovely b & b, very welcoming with great breakfasts- we were presented with a menu for breakfast on arrival with great choices. Nothing was too much trouble. Ann was a very friendly host and we plan to return.
