My partner and I stayed here for the third night of our walk on the Wicklow Way, convenient location and brilliant for exploring the area. We were checked in promptly and were really happy with our room, modern bathroom, comfortable, firm bed and spacious. We decided to eat in the bar, as we didn't feel suitably dressed for the restaurant.... More

Today myself and my partner had lunch here. We arrived at 2:50 and 25 minutes later a waiter still had not approached us, so we got our own menus. Eventually when the waitress arrived we ordered wraps, chips and onion rings at 3:15. It took the waitress 15 minutes to return with our drinks, after waiting a further 30 minutes,... More

Apart from that the hotel bed room was bran new. Lovely new smell and very warmly decor. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was OK, but the dinner... More

Excellent location and staff were friendly. Good quality room and food with good value to be had. Impossible to put a value on the scenery on the doorstep which is so easily accessible on foot or on bicycles.

I had a one night stay in the hotel valentines weekend and it was great. The hotel was clean, tidy and cosy. Our room had a balcony with incredible views. Our five course dinner was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great value for money.

Really enjoyed my stay here at the Glendalough Hotel. The staff were really friendly, felt like I was at home. Highly recommended. Great area for walks and outdoor activities. The hotel is situated right across the road from the famous Monastic Tower.

We had two wraps, two cappuccinos, a diet coke and a bottled beer. €32 seems a little expensive to me but maybe I am out of touch. The wraps were nice but only a few leaves for garnish, and €9 each. Cappuccinos €3 each. I noticed that the curry on the lunch menu was €18 or €19 and soup is... More

This is a country hotel, not a luxury hotel. So the frills many people expect from a new building might not be there. But the room was clean and comfortable, and there are many public areas for relaxing if you are traveling in a group or want to take your time. For me, staying here was all about the location....
